Why winning……..

Do we have to win?

Do we have to get to the finishing line first?…

NO, ……what I would like to get into  are the ideas which inhabit our heads and manipulate us on a subconscious level.

The psychology of the mind is a vast and stormy ocean, yet a journey out into those waters need not be dangerous or even frightening , it could even be looked upon as an adventure.  So, if you bring a little curiosity to the table, I would love to set my sails and take you on a quick spin into some interesting territories.

We win, if we achieve what it is that we are aiming for or heading towards, the way we experience this can be quite different and its these different aspects of personally experienced achievement we will get into.

The first category of person defines their happiness and primary goal in the general feeling of being comfortable. Yes the comfort zone is well established, the routines are polished the rut is deep and familiar. They are content with how things are, don’t rock the boat, my status quote is achieved and anything else is regarded with amused scepticism or interested disrespect  for change is not part of the greater plan. Call them phlegmatic if you like as they make up a large portion of the population pie.

The second category of individuals primary sence of achievement lies on the necessity of being liked. Yes, liked  accepted and recognised by colleagues, family and friends. They will almost do anything to be liked,even if it means  compromising themselves. In a leadership role this person would hit bumpy ground fast, as leaders need to make decisions which also displease.

The third category belongs to those who always need to be right. This unthankful role is oft found in professionals like lawyers, doctors, academics and others, who in the one on one often talk endlessly and find no end. They define their win, by always being right and always knowing better. We have  met these folk who are at first  interesting but inevitably become boring.

The fourth category belongs to the winners. Those who actually do come first in the race, first in the class, first in the competition. They are motivated and inspired by the burning desire to challenge themselves. They win by mentally engaging themselves as their own opponents, and striving to redefine their own boundaries. The successful entrepreneur, athlete, student finds the fulfilment in being first. Winning is the reward, as it enables a dynamic self-evaluation. Discomfort is part of the equation, it is the challenge  which motivates and defines the feeling of the win.

The fifth category are those who win by losing. Ummm, ya by losing, or by seeing themselves in the role of the victim who needs to be comforted , supported and cared for.  This is a hard way to win, yet the psyche puts us in this unthankful role to enable others to give us attention and love.

To win equals comfort.

To win equals being liked

To win equals being right.

To win equals winning.

To win equals losing.

Having shared this small journey into the vast and at times stormy sea of the mind you can now evaluate how necessary it becomes to take your own personal development extremely seriously when embarking on the task of being successful with your own home business.

To win you will need to share value, to share value you can share your own experience of growth. I have lived in the mind-set of winning by being liked and also by losing for a large part of my life, can you recognise yourself in one or more of these aspects?

The journey I’m now on is a new exciting one and it is wonderful to be able to share this.

Leadership has been described as “a process of social influence in which one person can enlist the aid and support of others in the accomplishment of a common task“,[1] although there are alternative definitions of leadership. For example, some understand a leader simply as somebody whom people follow, or as somebody who guides or directs others,while others define leadership as “organizing a group of people to achieve a common goal”

In the Home Owner Business, we are the CEO & bottle washer and our success is primary. For the operation to grow we need to become a Leader, we might not have thought we were!  Our example through effort, focus and action using a given road map will make the THING work.

The leadership becomes important for those in the team who are in the learning curve. Leadership is your act of empowering your team to strive and reach their own financial goals and success. This skill, is what gains your respect in the team.

MLM, Networkmarketing, Franchise Marketing is all about team work if you want to become successful and earn an above average  income you will need to develop the leadership skills you might never have thought you had .

The skill set of Leadership is different, in different professional settings, in our niesch set, personal growth has important implications to our leadership. Why, well you require yourself to change to the more, to be more active, more alert, more sensitive, more thoughtful, more ….

the Art of achieving your Goals

Would I be wrong to say that most of us Network Marketers MLM Marketers who earn a living online all experience a similar sense of overload when we check out our mail box or open our Face Book account?
This sheer flood of interesting information; Alerts; Messages, Offers and Applications, can leave us spinning.
What to go for?, What to respond to?, How to prioritize?, What to dump?, Which new exciting offer to get involved with?
Well there is a solution, has 4 letters and begins with P……
Got it?
YA, “PLAN”
We simply have to Plan. We simply use this plan as means to focus, then we get really serious and we focus on the focus!
SO what is the plan?
It will begin with you writing down your GOALS. Not difficult when you break your Goals down into different Areas.
Step 1. Your Business Goals ( for the Year, the Quarter, the Month, the Day)
Step2.Your Personal Goals ( for the Year, the Quarter, the Month, the Day)
Step3. Your Family Goals ( for the Year, the Quarter, the Month, the Day)
Step 4. Etc…
So now what?
These Goals need an ACTION PLAN to make them happen!
SO what is the Action Plan?

The Action Plan, is the list of activities which you line up to achieve the Goals which you have set. Resulting in Achieved Work and Effective Time Management, day by day.
You know exactly where you are going with your business and the information overload which comes pouring in day by day, hour by hour is no longer a distraction, but now you scan the content sifting out the pertinent information required to achieve the set Goal.
A Few Ideas:
How many hours a week will I be working?
How much do ya want to earn per month?
How big is my marketing budget?
How big should your team be?
How many prospects do you want to take to the next conference?
How big should your customer base be?
What residual income do you want to achieve in the long run?

These are a few questions which you, as a home based Marketer NEED to know, and have to have the answers to.
The only way to get those answers is to create a specific, Detailed & Focused plan.
Quote, “When you deal with your business like a hobby, you will be remunerated like a hobby, it will cost you money!”
You are in this game to make money; it’s a job and the better Focused you are the MORE money you will earn. Be the focused Professional that you ARE!
When we focus, and carry out the ACTION plan then not only do we achieve the goals but unexpectedly along the way we are confronted with synchronicity, the unexpected little things which begin to fit the greater puzzle, bringing us closer and closer to the BIG goal.
This is what I mean “FOCUS on the FOCUS!”
Should ya get off track, hey, just get back on again, things change, we just readjust the plan, the goals, but we are Focused, Aware, Awake, Alive and heading for a known Destination.
It is a great exciting intense game, these are some of the ground rules to train into your habits and those of your team.

CHINA, live the Dream

Blog: the Journey to CHINA

Sitting here at Heathrow airport in transit to a long distance flight out to Shanghai, my MLM business buzzes through my head and my fingers ich to get some of this energy out of my head and down into words.

Being your own boss or self employed is an exciting challenge, one which has always fascinated and drawn me to this type of work.

Why, you might wonder? Well I suppose it is just so encompassing. Firstly, I alone am responsible for my success or my failure, bottom line, no arguments or excuses. No beating around the bush, either I earn money or I don’t, its that simple.

When coaching a new partner I silently wade through my library of experience, knowledge, wisdom, letting this mingle with the impression and image of my new downline partner. I bounce questions to myself about who this new individual is and then let go again.

How can I support or help my new partner get going in the most efficient, successful way I can possibly imagine.

This process is what I call my “SUCCESS in a BOX”, these are the building blocks or the pieces of the puzzle which will get you running flat out as your business feet hit the deck.

I have deliberately emphasized , possibly, yes only POSSIBLY, because before you even open that box, you still need to require the mind set of success which will enable it all to happen.

The keys to opening the treasure chest os SUCCESS are ;
to be, to do, then you will acquire or have.

The blunt wish, “I want to get rich!” implies a process where by YOU need to become rich in your own perception. This richness or value which you experience you may then share, enabling others to grow , move forward and also share in your success or through your richness and wealth.

To begin with is the simple yet important step of mentally attuning your mind to being wealthy, worthy, valuable and selfless all at the same time.

This is the basic and ongoing prerequisite to BEING successful in your life. Successful in your work, in your relationships, in your health, in your home.

Where ever we might have come from, walk of life, age, profession, gender, training our very nature is that of habit. An important strategy for survival which lies deeply anchored in our psyche since the early eons as man was still evolving.

If old habits have not worked, create yourself anew with habits which emulate those and that which you wish to become in the future.

New good habits pertaining to your health & body, new habits pertaining to the relationships in your family, with colleagues and friends .New habits concerning the success in your own HOME Business Venture.

So what does he mean, you might be thinking????..

.simple… find the leaders in the field where you are working, listen to them, read their work, take their ideas and IMPLEMENT them into your daily routine as new habits.

Create a schedule for your day and IMPLEMENT it.

Consciousness contains the inherent desire to transform, we just need to feed this awareness, this desire with the habits which will give us more than what we had before.

Bingo! ya bingo, this is the beginning, the path, the way, and the mind set, which when now opening the Success BOX and guarantee results.

Results as implied, are the natural consequence of actions taken.  Take massive action in creating new habits of strength, of awareness, of transformation.
The prize is waiting in the BOX, you just need to open the lid of SUCCESS filled awareness and the treasure is yours, a new successful vibrant YOU!!!!

Angel of Hope

Desperation muse

Of all the times I have waited
Wondering when and why
It’s the moment now that’s  fated
to receive my belated cry.
I cry & call & wish & swear
No difference makes my mood unfair

In silent scream I have to know
What’s going on, where now to go.
With what to do, with whom to show
The Feelings which  I only Know .

Is this cloud with silver lined?
The leaded grey with doubt profound
Holds my gaze, with wrinkled brow
A fascination paralyzed in fear
A grip of steel the end so near.

Then flashes unexpected light
The ray redemption’s calling flight
