Skylark

Poetry: Skylark

by Liam

Your wind sweeps past and through me

Lifting my skylark wings till they embrace the blue

White clouds we ask, laugh and why?

My 1000 questions

Leave me with Gods glance to

Support the proofs that cannot hinder nor define

Caught in the reflection of heavens glass

This Ruby red will pass my lips to find

Answers deep golden nuggets imbedded within the bedrock of my soul

Quietly awaiting the wind

Patiently awaiting the wisdom.

Poetry: I meets U

Poetry: I meets U

by Liam

Beyond the halls, the walls & wisdom of my knowledge

The magnificent mystery of the world rotates

Indeed we learn this we understand that

Individually, what I truly know is but a infinitesimal fragment

Let me recognize

Let me enter into the vast mystery of myself

Let me unite my recognition of how universally unknown

The I

I am is

Now the mystery meets the magic in the moment

Each in awe of awakening

Each in recognition of how amazing life

Is

Poetry: If

Poetry: If

by Liam

If you want laughter, accept these smiles

If you want friendship, enjoy the while

If you want the moon, feel the night

If you want the stars, open up to the light

If you want the rose, thorns too will create pain

If you want love, be true to yourself gain

If you want the moment, leave the past before

If you want the self, look only to a cosmic door

If you want Grace, step into the inner space

If you want peace, be with Gods grace

Poetry: Trumpet

Poetry: Trumpet

by Liam

Taking the trumpet of life

Blowing notes with high joy

Gods music reveals needs into each one

At times passion, sometimes pain

Will ring out across this life

Look find your harmony

Look, feel your rhythm

Remember, reminding myself of whose lips

Grace this melody of me

Of whose miracle is playing the instrument

You see.

Poetry: Quest

Poetry: Quest

by Liam

As words begin the dancing

A spinning in my mind

There comes a leap of magic light

Words come tumbling out to find what’s right

They fill these lines, now to be read

With all the manna mystery falling gently upon my head

There, up on the threshold

The window open wide

A pirouette within my chest

Arms outstretched begins the quest

To find a home where these words will rest

So sing my friends, my partners of this you feel and know

Poems are but words alive

Alone you, make them real

Alone you, make them grow.

Poetry: Time

Poetry: Time

by Liam

Ripples follow the waves to shore

Pebbles roll in the crash and roar

Our seconds, your minutes, all days till life’s done

March forward forever this time conundrum

A babe be born, life’s time to defend

To wear loves crown seems to condescend

Quickened life laughs, will still stumble and fall

Time which gave, again takes all

The flush of youth, passions high felt cry

The old mans stick, beauty too will die

The bolt of light from whence we came

The funeral pyre as we return again

Cruel the hand which swings the scythe

Let hope live on in my rhythm alive.

Poetry: Blue

Poetry: Blue

by Liam

A tree its such a grandiose thing,

Swaying in the wind

The leaves of green they dance and sing

This movement of a living thing

So huge, so vast so symphonicly

Subtle, sound rustles from its wing

Fly too, indeed it might with those clouds

White, skidding across my view

High up it’s leafy fingers grasp the shredded

Blue, I wonder lying on my back

Just, what is what and who is who

Tree Sky Cloud Me Blue

Poetry: Sleep

Poem: Sleep

By Liam

Let silence be the Art of your participation

In the quiet

In the peace

In this moment

It’s no longer about me

About you or anyone

It’s simply the vastness

Which moving up

From within washes

Away apprehension

Refreshing the memories

The life of deep expanse

Before descending into

This humanity, this body

This life of here and there

Let silence be the Art of my participation

For this moment of now

Is the light which will glow

After I return to release

After I arrive, there from whence I came.

Poetry: Listen too

Poetry: Listen too

by Liam

First go find yourself

Before you will find me

What was sought in the books

What was looked for in the stars

These teachings are answers too

The meaning though is another

Whispers which come quiet and quick

When I listen to my soul

This light illuminates what the heart has understood

Take this unique story, it’s yours, it’s mine too

Creating a myth of who we are

Creating the joy of who we’ve become.

Poetry: What is Love

Poetry: What is Love?

by Liam

The traveler asked,”What is Love?”

“Don’t ask, but dissolve into your inquiry

Invite Love to ooze from your insights

Allow this cure to flow from your gain

Effortlessly as your body yields to its perfumed gaze.”
