Where Love Remains

by Liam

There comes a time

when the one who passed

is no longer away, yet there.

The room that once held their voice

begins to hold something else,

a tenderness without a name,

a quiet light resting

on the ordinary things.

And I discover

that absence has its own landscape.

At first, every path leads

to the places where she is not.

I reach instinctively

for the familiar hand,

the beloved voice,

the small rituals

that once made the world feel whole together.

But time, patient as the revolving earth,

begins its hidden work.

It does not remove the sorrow.

It teaches this loss

how to become spacious.

And slowly,

what was once a wound has become a window.

You begin to sense her

not in some distant elsewhere

but here.

in the warmth of morning light,

in the fragrance of rain,

in the gentle movement of your breath,

in the tenderness with which

your own hands now touch your art.

Perhaps this is one of love’s

most mysterious gifts:

that what we cannot keep

we are never entirely asked to lose.

For love, once given deeply,

does not disappear with the body.

It changes its dwelling.

It leaves the visible world

and enters the unseen places

the chambers of memory,

the language of the heart,

the silence beneath the thoughts.

There, it asks but nothing.

It does not demand

that you remember.

It does not ask

that you grieve.

It simply remains.

And one quiet evening

you may notice

that you are no longer carrying

the weight of their absence.

You are carrying her presence.

Not as a burden, or loss

but as a blessing.

And breathing deeply,

you may understand at last

that the beloved has not vanished

She has become

part of the very light

through which I see.

And I am

…at peace.

Finding Our Infinity

 by Liam

It’s when the body’s weak, not strong,

The breath, its flow, is soft and slow.

Eyes, they burn,

Onto an aching side, I turn.

Here, thinking is the feeling, Feeling thoughts which intertwine.

It’s deep to reach my inner speech,

Walk around inside this busy mind.

Those soft persuasive voices,

The conversation between Me and me.

The things I do,

The decisions made,

The here, the now,

The story played,

The wonder of a wish come true,

The simple fact of me and you.

Not time, but rhythm, a calling,

Words, thoughts, we dance, we sing,

Into the music of this space,

All quiet, absolutely true, this ring.

Gratefully gliding, moving,

We spin timeless across the floor.

Serendipity’s grin,

Eternity’s win,

Creativity’s cry,

Magical eye.

Grateful, this art in hand,

Mindful, for you set all free.

Creatively, now we stand,

Happily, smile into infinity.

A Pearl

by Liam

Within my soul, a precious pearl arose,

Emergent bright from deep within my core.

Oh, tempest! wake me from this restless dream,

Transform this jewel to thoughts forevermore.

Let lightning strike, the ocean’s secret crack,

Reveal my mysteries, deep and profound.

Lay I still, while all about went black,

Peace found me then upon this shore, unbound.

An empty cloud, I now lie in slumber deep,

Beside the ocean’s edge, I found my grace.

In stillness, under moonlit, starry wonder sleep,

In cherished solitude, dremt a soft embrace.

In a cloud of white, this pearl now lies.

I fly away with wind, become blue skies.

TOUCHÉ

In my every cell I find you

Feel you surging through my blood

Throw myself into the wild liquid of your love

Lost now in our after glow of morning

I find memories of who we were

Like wild flowers woven into the golden of your hair

Transformation creates this magic, being in the bliss.

Who care’s its the moment captured,

 Our first ever loving kiss.

Four wings in silver shining

We are angels brilliant bright

Heaven calling us to table each and every night.

Yours, mine and all who seeking

Fly with us, hand in hand.

This day now draws to slumber

The morning bright your band.

Brings gold, brings stars, brings light and more

The waves they crash and cry and roar

The liquid sea, the love, the moment, me you and it all.

 We gently touch  caressing call

Touché Cherie

A Summers Day

by Liam

Summer lifts the world

single handed into light.

The sea waiting

since the dawn of creation, breathes softly against the shoreline of time.

Barefoot,

I step onto firm sand.

With each footprint,

the beach releases

a memory of its silence,

and like a place within me,

my soul remembers

all it once knew.

The waves don’t welcome me as a stranger,

but as one returning

to a home

I had forgotten was my self.

A cool breath

draws the burden

of my thoughts

Until like gulls they screech

above the wind

rising,

circling,

then vanishing

beyond the edge of the world.

Here

Beneath the trembling waters light,

a shoal of fish

passes through the deep

the sea thinks

in shoals of silver flashes,

each movement

brief,

each one complete.

No moment like another.

Time forgets

The ancient habit

of measuring itself.

It loosens,

becoming light,

becoming water,

becoming a wide and open stillness

Perhaps happiness

is what we grasp,

but is that what changes us?

We imagine

we are only spending

a summer’s day

beside the sea.

And when evening,

with gentle ripples,

gathers the last gold slivers

from the waves,

something remains

wordless,

spacious,

and somehow

a little nearer

to the Infinite.

To the warmth of this eternal summers day.

The Prince of Light

by Liam

Who comes thirsty to the fountain and spring?

The moon & stars reflected therein.

Quenching  thirst first with light, with reflection and awe.

The cup flowth over with wisdom and more

Fruits foreign, sweet wine to the table this tonight.

Who is to marry the prince of light?

To greet dawns wing on a golden flush

To wrap the night in a star filled hush.

To touch the sky with a spear of fire

To hear the truth from an Angel choir

Be it truth

Be it love

Be it who

Be it you my friend

Now dusty and tired

Who at the end of this journey long

Who sipped the stars on a lonely night

Who drank from God’s goblet of light

Who sung the song till the heavens cried

Of a new life to come

Of a day fresh born

Of a souls awaking

Call out the trumpet

Call out the horn.

It’s the Prince of light who wakes the morn.

The Secret of Substance

By Liam

These days when the world seems clothed in massivity,

mountain crags holding their ancient silence,

oceans gathering ripples in its blue immensity,

cities lifting high their yellow bright scaffolds,

against the passing dark horizons blue.

This all seems so solid so substantial,

each stone, boulder and rock certain of its gravity,

each object convinced of its reality.

And yet,

when the heart grows still enough to listen,

another music begins beneath the appearance.

This magnitude is not what it claims.

Fields do not flourish by themselves alone,

nor do the stars burn only to adorn the night.

A hidden tenderness moves through all of all,

like light seeping unseen

Through the roots before the blossom.

What we call the world

is often only a beautiful disguise.

Behind every form, is

a longing.

Behind every longing,

Is a meeting.

Behind every meeting,

love.

And perhaps the greatest secret

carried by river and cloud,

by memory and loss,

is that existence is far less crowded

than we imagine.

For when every name is laid down,

when every distance is crossed,

when every certainty releases its secrets,

there remains only this:

the quiet, radiant presence

that has been waiting inside everything….

love,

the invisible substance

from which the world borrows its shape.

Flux

by Liam

The end, is a veil too thin to hide,

The quiet pause before the turning tide.

Life twists, it shifts, it will not stay,

A restless stream carving its way.

Closure? No, it’s all soil and seed,

Life the fertile ground for what you need.

The past, a shadow cast behind,

A fleeting echo of heart and mind.

Don’t cling to those colors that fade and fray,

The light ahead shapes your brighter day.

So bend, transform, and dare to dream,

What you believe in creates the stream.

From what is hidden, new form will rise,

Each end remakes what it implies.

And in its stillness, new beginnings sing,

Let your soul takes flight on a fresh new wing.

The Shape of Love

by Liam

When it’s the moon and stars I seek,

I ask the night

to hold me in its sight.

I wander

fragile,

worn,

weak.

relearning my name,

learning how to speak again

learning how to play the game

I place a rose into your hand

It’s not my thorns

that make you bleed.

It’s the way my gaze

unmasks what you had planned

Because truth,

truth cuts sharper,

sharper than anything I ever meant to hide

I trace my faults

in crooked lines,

insecurities carved across my bleeding mind

Every misjudgment

steals a little more sight,

until

bite by bite

I start losing

the one I was holding,

holding onto inside

I said I named my self

I said every choice was mine alone

I named my path

I named you too

But freedom frays

where hearts betray

and consequence,

consequence redraws us

whether we’re ready or not

And still….

like quiet dawn

melting midnight blue

your love

revives my world

Not by saving me

but by showing me

the shape

I’d forgotten

was already true

was already me

was already you.

The Apparel of God

by Liam

Appear as you are to your self

Be as your Self appears to you

Apparently, appearance is appealing so

Be not appalled by the apparel of personality

By the fleeing foe stifling your awakening

Awaken within yourself

To a harmony together with God

It’s simple really, you realize self

Appearing appareled in the garb of God

We here become true, unique and fathomless.
