Poem: My Body

Poetry: My Body

by Liam

Unexpectedly, whilst on a quiet walk

I whispered to my body.

Which eagerly listened

Familiar with this voice

Yet foreign to its content.

“Would you be my friend, my partner, my grail?”

Surprised enthralled, we breathed the fresh clean air

I replied, “ My beloved , I’ve been waiting for you all this life.”

Unified, in harmony, we walked on, in silence smiling.

Poetry: Mother to Father

Poetry: From the Mother to Father

by Liam

After the rain and wet

Let your warm love lift me

Fine droplets of joy rushing up to become clouds so peaceful

This fulfillment is how we share

Each, a particle of something greater

Each, an endless movement to and from the body

The mother to the father

Dancing as children each on their way.

Poetry: Selfie

Poetry: Selfie

by Liam

The way

The journey

The emancipation from selfie to soul free

This will become your own choice to passion and liberty

Poetry: AMAZING

Poetry: Amazing

by Liam

What I found in you amazed me.

What happened when I found this in myself

This crazed me.

Like

Running around under a rain cloud

Leaping up grabbing at bolts blue and thunder loud Catching big blobs of wet in my mouth

Filled with the taste of the moment

The crack and fizzle of lightening

Before it’s exploding across my synapses

Falling in love a thousand times in an instant

To then, be carried away

Softly on the in breath

Experience the perigee of passion

Before exhaustion rolled me up in dreams of tomorrow.

What I found in you crazed me.

What happened when I found this in myself

This amazed me.

Poetry: Whose Grave

Poetry: Whose Grave

by Liam

Above a grave, life still ruffles in the breeze

Green, leaves cast shade upon your gone gaze

While my living roots entangle your coffin in an embrace

To share in the dream you left

I live, I trace

I ponder life beneath the shady bower

Not time, nor hour, but the power to have made you crumble

To the dust from which my growth now flows

To sprout, to bud then leaf and know

Without a doubt, will hold this insight with a branch

Life’s seeds to share

One chance to germinate

Give it truth, Give it hope

Grow then pick the fruit of hope, of care, of love

But bury despair

Deep in that coffin there.

Poetry: Despair

Poetry: Despair

by Liam

How often now have I stamped my forehead to the wall

Eyes swollen wet and red

Hands bunched till the knuckles bled

So often now

So often I fall

Not wanting to recall, the shame, my pain the punishment of it all.

In weeping stumble to my knees

Pray, yet all I say, choke out is

Why why why

In despair

In panic

In pain

Nothing nothing nothing

Is the same

Again

My heart breaks

It’s in these cracks,

It’s in the crumbling debris of deceit, of letting go

It happened, it appeared

It flashed alive out of the dark

A beautiful tiny living spark.

Poetry: Heal

Poetry: Heal

by Liam

I heal

When I know where to throw, this seed of Love

Truth, here will grow

Pain, no longer know

The reason, source or trial.

Love, in you while with me

Returning what was lost, what is real

Reminding what it is to feel

Alive, awake and true

From that labyrinth of indecision it’s now clear

Like light, lighting the way, lightening the day, Compassions task

This surely will grow,

Strong true and more

The seeds of Love we sow.

Poetry: Crescendo

Poetry: Crescendo

by Liam

Here, captured in worry

Now, held in fear

Life, is a treadmill of pain to be born

Caught in a game

Repeatedly, torn.

Ensnare love in your movements, Your moments too

Capture this nectar in the quietude of you

In the intervals between Crescendo and culmination

Listen dance laugh learn return

With your oneness!

Allow the stars from which we are created

To fly from your fingertips

Your toes, to those

Who seeking cry

Knowing, from pain we still can fly

Leave the desolation of alone

Allow this light to illuminate

Invite love to

Participate, in you.

Poetry: Apparel of God

Poetry: Apparel of God

by Liam

Appear as you are to your self

Be as your Self appears to you

Apparently, appearance is appealing so

Be not appalled by the apparel of personality

By the fleeing foe stifling your awakening

Awaken within yourself

To a harmony together with God

It’s simple really, you realize self

Appearing appareled in the garb of God

We here become true, unique and fathomless.

Revised! Entwined

Poetry: Entwined

by Liam

Here we lie deeply entwined

Not our bodies but our minds.

Hearts aglow thoughts gentle caress

Soft the lines across your face.

Laughter too we share we smile

Think, it’s been a while since

Last I loved Last my body arched and sighed

Lovers touch Lovers cries

Here we lie

Deeply enlaced

Not our actions

But this space

inspirations

Move, they place

The gift of us

Upon the table

Of this life and day

It’s time to hold hands, sing and play

Intertwingle.
