Poetry: Heal

Poetry: Heal

by Liam

I heal

When I know where to throw, this seed of Love

Truth, here will grow

Pain, no longer know

The reason, source or trial.

Love, in you while with me

Returning what was lost, what is real

Reminding what it is to feel

Alive, awake and true

From that labyrinth of indecision it’s now clear

Like light, lighting the way, lightening the day, Compassions task

This surely will grow,

Strong true and more

The seeds of Love we sow.

Poetry: Bouquet of Love

Poetry: Bouquet of Love

by Liam

We cherish the perfume of a rose in bloom

Your fragrance too embrace this room

By grace the tincture of yours and mine amalgamate

Let my body yield to this magic of your scent

Create, inspiration

With which we rejoicing souls

See the beauty in what we share

A new vogue

Takes your perfumed gaze

To the heavens calling all

To share this olfactory joy

The Bouquet of love

Brilliant, lifts to God above.

Poetry: Lustfully

Poetry: Lustfully

by Liam

This laughter, this is joyful, gladness found in your beauty

Your hair flying in curls of golden braid

Distract my contemplation

How easily this persuasion causes me to write, enabling the lines, the letters, the punctuation

Setting free the poetry binding our souls, healing our needs

While alone your glance, caught between yesterday and tomorrow

Has ensnared my life

To live Love lustfully.

Poetry: The Wick

Poetry: The Wick

by Liam

Circling the flame

Fascinated by its murderous conflagration.

It’s energy draws me helplessly to you

Hotter deeper closer stronger

We encapsulate the idea of intimacy

Although we are insignificantly erotic, we are magnificently emotional

Still the pull is profound

Heat draws heat

Why do I burn?

Why is the perfume of incense around me?

If it’s love

Do I doubt?

Do I rub the wick?

Snuff the flame,

again!

Poetry: Walk in the Park

Poetry: A Walk in the Park

by Liam

Then, when I was no longer searching

My gaze no longer looking to find you

This heart centered energy

Reverberated, opened and flew

To the breeze left by a simple smile

Yours on a bench,

In a park, just before dark

Alone your posture gave me joy, simply leaning on love

The air which separated us quivered

Unexpectedly this embrace,

The universe, stars, space

The setting sun, offered palpitations of color

We consumed and danced away across the night

A beautiful thing two souls in flight, in

Love, take the keys of morning

Let them be lost forever.

Spiritual Poetry: Journey to the Center of the Soul

Spiritual poetry: “journey to the center of the soul”

Liam

I too have traveled

True, wide and further

Mountains traversed, oceans crossed and deserts wondered

Only after I

immobilized my body

Literally stopped moving

Did true journey begin

This was truly amazing

Not the movement of a muscle

Nor the twitch of an eyelid

Yet, it was further away than I’d ever ventured before

I decided

To make the journey to the very deepest

The very most hidden core of myself

It was a journey, for it was not made in a day,

Took weeks, took months where I meditated quietly

Each time returning with insights

Firstly

The treasure of my past,

in its detail, in its glory

It’s pain and its healing

Thereafter things became different

I wasn’t going somewhere

I was becoming something

Merging with a field of energetic possibilities

It is a melting

It is a dissolving

It is an absorbing

Funny,

In this, never for a moment

did I lose that.

That which is intrinsically me

That which was, before my birth

That which will remain after leaving this sheath

This was my guide as I vanished

This was my keeper as I merged

This was the center of nothing

This was the core of peace

This is the journey I began

I am and forever will be

traveling.

Nature Poetry: God

Nature Poetry: God

God, not only speaks

Through the language of nature

Also, in the words we whisper to ourselves.

God writes

Beautiful wisdom across the tapestry of your heart

These feelings, these impressions wait

Patiently for your stillness

For the quiet moments of inner peace and tranquillity

Sparkling from the reflection of your soul

It’s bird song

It’s the flute

It’s a splashing brook

Which sing God’s song

Listen up, for the mystery of this music

Is written too across your heart

A manuscript of love

A book of joy

A letter of forgiveness

Alone for you to read

Alone for you to discover and share.

Inspirational Poetry: Thank You

Inspirational Poetry: Thank You

by Liam

When last,

was I grateful for this …. gratitude?

Pulling gratitude threadbare across emaciated shoulders

Falling upon boney knees

I’ve shown my thanklessness for to long

Starved this self of love

To long let life flee before me

The ignorance

Of my inner eye

Tears so old, grown cold now cry

Why did arrogant selfish blind my way?

When it’s so simple to say

Thank you, thank you, thank you

Joy is my new nourishment

My gratitude feeds each part of my life

Anew, afresh, awake

Grateful for this life, this new day

Hold it high to the waking say

Carry it deep, in the way I pray.

Inspirational Poetry: Listen

Poetry: Listen

by Liam

It’s time now to listen up

To the one who made the words

A mighty field of richness

From silence, this now occurs

Listen, the barren stone will crumble

In it’s debris, the flower will grow

Beckoning light with simplicity

From it’s petals words will flow

Listen, as this listener

Now becomes a one of words

To lift the letters from the space

Where silence is but heard

So words they living find us

In thought or image they play

A poetry of pictures found

Listen deep to what they say.

It’s from this place of peace

Inspiration can now play.
