Poetry: Breakout

Poetry: Break Out

by Liam

Create beauty in a thicket of thistles

Paint rainbows 🌈 across a puddle of mud

Even our simple life has become saturated with superficiality

In breaking through these fences with wisdom

Smashing away habits of imprisonment with peace

Pain precedes insight, right!

A reward which let’s in the light

Each crack slicing through

My absorbed propaganda of discrepancies

Turn anew the page of who I’d been

Open the chapter of life as yet unseen

Here it’s me it’s true

I’ll paint anew a picture across a rainbow with you.

Poetry: The Whisperer

Poetry: The Whisperer

by Liam

Quietly, as your whisper crosses space

My lips vibrate they flutter

To your grace

Feel the equanimity of intent

A moment’s message to the heart that sent

Angels weeping, their wings clipped all white

While God unfolds the banner

Asking, why? why?

Uncurl those feathered things

and fly not cry.

Poetry: The Other

Poetry: The Other

by Liam

As you moved in me, this impression is captured in my surprise

An indescribable feeling of content

A moment’s litany to the who

From whom that perfume was sent

Touché

I rise on wings from God’s good words declare

Search,

for although you are not here, uncover

What Loves ment to be

The other.

Poetry: Travelers

Poetry: Travelers

Yes, we are all travelers as

Life’s sun is setting faster than a bird on the wing

Be on your way with the wind at your feet

The light in yours eyes and a heart throwing flowers to the fields

For your wedding with eternity waits just beyond the horizon

On the other side of the sky

Rejoicing , dance and sing

On the way to your other tomorrow

Don’t stop for anything.

Poetry: Field of Flowers

Poetry: Field of Flowers

by Liam

All I own will be here when I’m gone

Out walking with the angels

Here to be sung, to be spoken, to be called

Out loud into the day

The ways of those who listen

Will awake within the how you hear

Yes, hear up deeply wakeup fully, for you too

Will walk these far out places

Far up from the fields of flowers in spring

When God has called

Come and walk with these words

They were once flowers growing here

Given to me, to give to you.

Poetry: The Antenna

Poetry: The Antenna

by Liam

While out in the wilds of the world one day

I found God in what a man did say

“What is that mystery crumpled in your hand,

Help me friend to understand.”

The gaze was grace so high I knew

Till heavens window through we flew

In this place, called to life

A force of love to end my strife

Folding out those creases deep could stretch my heart

Across the cosmos and the sky

Encompass all that’s ever been

Including all that is unseen

This organ given by life so free

This antenna linked to the cosmic me

Began to tune into this vibe

Began to pulse became alive

With this too I now could see that God as well

Resides in me.

Poetry: Worthy

Poetry: Worthy

by Liam

“You are worthy of love”, was said

A thousand times

The question of my worth

The reason of my birth has passed

Has even disturbingly resided in my mind

Those ragged jagged thoughts

Created, originated, equally resilient feelings of inadequacy

Desperate in emotional destitution

Love lost me then

Or was it I who had lost myself?

Neglected to quietly initiate my worthiness

This was about being meritorious, deserving and worthy of love!

The paradigm changed through recognition;

This me

This I

This biography is alone enough

Sufficiently enough too be worthy

To be deserving

To be meritorious

To be loved

I myself love the world

“ You are worthy “, said love.

Poetry:Contemplation

Poetry: Contemplation

by Liam

As the heart becomes your place of contemplation

It’s because of the rubbing, polishing and care taken

That mirror beautiful begins to shine

Reflecting not alone it’s maker

Fresh healed and vibrant

Also the very substance of invisibility

An integral feeling of immersion

It’s the lovers lamp

It’s the light of the lost

It’s the reflection of God’s magnificence

In you

With you

Through you

By you

Poetry: The Mirror

Poetry: The Mirror

by Liam

Love it’s branches spread

Wide since pre-eternity, laughed

As the intellect searching to understand, got stuck in a muck of words

It’s the lovers themselves who

Spin wordless amongst these leaves

Who shall share,

Know more, feel more of love

This is who they’ve become.

When love calls silently

it’s not words we hear

It’s the very universe which trembles

Heaven recognizing itself in the mirror of your own face

Smiles

Poetry: Resplendent

Poetry: Resplendent

by Liam

Prepare now for the feast

To shine where before the rags

The waste and tatters of yesterday clung

To your life

Throw them off

Dress for delight

In robes of joy

In garments of love

This fine apparel to meet a King a Queen

Indeed no other, Royalty than yourself

Resplendent in the shine of becoming true.
