Poetry: Breakout

Poetry: Break Out

by Liam

Create beauty in a thicket of thistles

Paint rainbows 🌈 across a puddle of mud

Even our simple life has become saturated with superficiality

In breaking through these fences with wisdom

Smashing away habits of imprisonment with peace

Pain precedes insight, right!

A reward which let’s in the light

Each crack slicing through

My absorbed propaganda of discrepancies

Turn anew the page of who I’d been

Open the chapter of life as yet unseen

Here it’s me it’s true

I’ll paint anew a picture across a rainbow with you.

Poetry: The Other

Poetry: The Other

by Liam

As you moved in me, this impression is captured in my surprise

An indescribable feeling of content

A moment’s litany to the who

From whom that perfume was sent

Touché

I rise on wings from God’s good words declare

Search,

for although you are not here, uncover

What Loves ment to be

The other.

Poetry: The Cloak

Poetry: The Cloak

by Liam

Together we weave our lives

The weft of days

The warp, the ways

In which I’m wrapped within this cloak of life.

Each pattern your very own design and shape

Some rich and wrong

Some thin and strong

Yet, when our weaving waits

Anticipates the

Hand of God

Upon which craft divine creates

A cloak of gratitude superb

To feed this life in every word

In every corner clear is heard

Be who

Be you

Be true

Poetry: Coming and Going

Poetry: Coming and Going

by Liam

This life and the next which will still come

The last life and the one which preceded that

These are ours, for they all come from the spirit

All go to the spirit

Each are a continuously evolving chance

Each life an amazing opportunity to become more

Intimately woven into the fabric

The texture of invisibility

Revealing itself in the experience of individuality.

Poetry: White Lilies

Poetry: White Lilies

by Liam

I live deeply in stillness

For in the morning as light wakes the bright white lilies

It’s this moment in the vividly shining stillness

That rejoicing my heart

Spills into the spring

Holding up the question of who gave God

The gift, the intrinsic moment of now?

Silence it whispered, listen deeply for this language needs no words

Just listen to the silence

Like White Lilies.

Poetry: Growth

All day I’ve been showered in light

These golden beams of Love flooding all

Everything we see, we do, we hear

Totally saturated in this warm living rain

Let it invigorate new hope, new thoughts and inspiration

These tender seeds are my very growth

Each letter, an alphabet from heaven

Bursting up and out across this page

A vitality we all comprehend

A reality we all need apprehend.

Poetry: Falling

Poetry: Falling

by Liam

To fall in love with the love you’ve fallen in love with

This is not madness nor a Soliloquy

It’s me, the universe and God

In quiet conversation

Each sharing the quintessential idea of now

In a way, which requires reflection, creativity and selflessness

Let’s do this in unison, singing songs and spinning helplessly under the stars

Each becoming the other, as we recognize Love in love with love.

Poetry: Requirements

Poetry: Requirements

by Liam

I am where I am

You there where you are too

Still, no need to fret or stare

Because I do what I can do

Here now alone with what I’ve become

With you too it’s a complicated whole

No longer alone

Which leaves us asking why?

Which weaves us closer to the whole

Which temporarily fulfills the requirements of now.

Meaning you are who I’ve tried to become

But why?

Poetry: Words

Poetry: Words

by Liam

We assume it’s words

Words loud or soft

Words sweet or strong

Words of poetry or law

Which bind us

Which connect and collect us

This place is different however

It’s about connectivity

Created by the invisible

Created by the inaudible

Created by the powerful

Emotions of your heart

So set your life on fire

Seek those that will not extinguish your spark

Seek everything which will set your very existence alight.
