Finding Infinity

 by Liam

It’s when my body’s weak, not strong,

My breath, its flow, is soft and slow.

Eyes, they burn,

Onto my aching side, I turn.

Here, thinking is my feeling, Feeling thoughts which intertwine.

It’s deep to reach my inner speech,

Walk around inside my busy mind.

Those soft persuasive voices,

The conversation between Me and me.

The things I do,

The decisions made,

The here, the now,

The story played,

The wonder of a wish come true,

The simple fact of me and you.

Not time, but rhythm, a calling,

Words, thoughts, we dance, we sing,

Into the music of this space,

All quiet, absolutely true, this ring.

Gratefully gliding, moving,

We spin timeless to the floor.

Serendipity’s grin,

Eternity’s win,

Creativity’s cry,

Magical eye.

Grateful, my art in hand,

Mindful, for you set me free.

Creatively, now we stand,

Happily, smile into infinity.

Fun

List five things you do for fun.

Integrating fun into one’s life is essential, not impotent. Fun contributes to overall well-being, providing relaxation, stress relief, and a sense of joy. Balancing responsibilities with enjoyable activities enhances mental health and fosters a more fulfilling life. Wishing you lots of fun, Liam.

King Brian Boru Kennedy

Write about your first name: its meaning, significance, etymology, etc.

The Irish name Kennedy has a fascinating etymology.

It is of Gaelic origin and is believed to come from the Old Irish name “Cinnéidigh” or “Cinnéididh,” which can be broken down as follows:

1. Cinn: This Gaelic word means “head” or “chief.”

2. Éidigh (or Éididh): This part of the name refers to “helmet” or “armor.”

Therefore, Kennedy essentially means “helmeted King” or “King with a helmet.” The name reflects a historical association with Kingship and warriors or protectors.

Brian Boru Kennedy was a High King of Ireland who played a crucial role in the Battle of Clontarf in 1014.

On the opposing side, the Viking King of Dublin, Sigtrygg Silkbeard, and the Viking Earl of Orkney, Brodir, were part of this coalition.

The battle was complex but Brian Boru emerged victorious in the battle, but lost his life in the process.

The Battle of Clontarf had a significant impact on Irish history. The eventual freedom of Dublin Town after a 1000 years of Viking occupation.

An ancient direct ancestor of our family tree. Liam

My living, thinking, feeling example as father will most definitely be a powerful form of leadership for my children too. Liam

How to uninvent your dysfunctionalities.

If you could un-invent something, what would it be?

Bad habits are self sabotage, often learnt survival strategies in young years. Here are simple but effective exercises and habits to regain ones true integrity, to uninvent the dysfunctional aspects of one’s own personality

To regain true integrity, consider incorporating simple yet effective exercises and habits into your life. Start by regularly reflecting on your actions, motivations, and values to cultivate self-awareness. Practice mindfulness through activities like meditation or mindful breathing to stay present and make conscious choices aligned with your values.

Keep an honesty journal to record your thoughts and actions genuinely, fostering self-reflection and accountability. Establish clear personal and professional boundaries to prevent situations that might compromise your integrity. Define your values and set realistic, meaningful goals that align with them, providing a roadmap for your actions.

Seek feedback from trusted individuals to gain valuable insights into areas where you might need to adjust your behavior. Embrace a growth mindset, learn from mistakes, and continuously seek opportunities for personal development. Practice empathy by understanding others’ perspectives, fostering more compassionate interactions.

Consider sharing your integrity goals with a trusted friend or mentor who can serve as an accountability partner. Regularly assess your habits and routines, identifying any that may contribute to self-sabotage and replacing them with healthier alternatives.

Remember, regaining true integrity is a gradual process that requires consistent effort and a commitment to positive change. Be patient with yourself as you work towards a more authentic and aligned life.

Self Love vs. Egotism

Can you share a positive example of where you’ve felt loved?

We first have to establish what the differences are.

Self-love involves appreciating and caring for oneself in a healthy way, while egotism is an excessive focus on one’s own importance, often at the expense of others. Self-love promotes well-being, whereas egotism can lead to selfish behavior.

Yes, cultivating self-love can serve as a solid foundation for a happy and successful life. When individuals have a positive relationship with themselves, it can contribute to better mental health, resilience, and the ability to pursue goals with confidence and authenticity. 🤩🎼🙏liam

Anything & Everything

Where can you reduce clutter in your life?

“ the way we do anything is the way we do everything.”

This very simple, but profound idea is resonated with me for a very long time. If you created clutter around yourself in your daily life, it’s simply a reflection of your own cluttered mind.

Declutter regularly by donating or discarding items you no longer need or use. Implement a “One In, One Out” rule for new items. Create designated spaces for different items, organizing and prioritizing based on importance. Extend decluttering to your digital life by organizing files and unsubscribing from unnecessary emails. Be intentional about what you bring into your life, evaluating if it adds value. Establish simple daily routines to prevent clutter from accumulating. Practice mindfulness, meditation, or journaling to clear your mind. Set clear goals for different aspects of your life to guide decision-making. Learn to say no to non-essential tasks or obligations. Prioritize quality over quantity in both possessions and activities. Liam

Animals

What is your favorite animal?

Biologically, humans are classified as animals. In the taxonomic hierarchy, humans belong to the kingdom Animalia, just like other mammals. So, from a biological standpoint, it’s accurate to say that humans are a type of animal. Thereby my favorite animals would of course be my children and my long standing partner. Liam.
