I’ve looked for Love since the beginning,
These pieces, each a part of the find,
Found in a puzzle called living,
Lost to my memory and mind.

Hidden for all to discover,
Written for all to read,
Spoken for all to listen,
Is pain that I sometimes bleed.

Cast off my dark cloak of fire,
I’ll ride through the darkness of doubts,
Burn too, I’ll with your desire,
Upon clouds, my soul screams and shouts.

My eyes,
My words,
My hearing,
Understanding stands too in my way.

For alone it’s love which is waiting,
On a rainbow to meet me today.

Upon us, music descends from above,

Our souls overflow with melodies of love.

Great, small, and fine, the sweetest of tunes,

Spin from ether like festive balloons.

These windswept clouds of life are known,

Understood, in the depths of my unconscious home.

This wisdom hidden until we see,

Through the eyes of each other, both you and me.

Like flower petals around a stamen’s core,

Invisible patterns create fragrance before.

Happiness alive dances, we spin around,

This life with beauty is within us, found.

In your embrace, forever, I’ll dance,

To the music of love you see in my glance.

Poetry: The Embrace

Evening shadow flows, blood-red between the leaves.

We walk soft amongst the Autumn trees.

My fascination with your blond-blown braid,

Your intimations reflex is to toss this serenade.

Let us bathe in these arrangements glowing red,

Leaves still bleed evening around your head.

Lead me to the consequence of an embrace.

You, me, dissolve this way in time and space.

Unresolved the questions that you break

Upon my wounded back, they shake me.

Again, again, it’s not my pain but your capacity.

To create the hold on my inadequacy.

We will find our start despite the dark,

Intrusions of this night.

All I want is silence, to touch me

It’s beauty hidden within the shine of love

All I want is love, to fold my soul

To turn me fully to myself

All I want is to run, towards the moment smiling

For that perfume rise’s from the valley floor

It’s here we dance

It’s how we pray

It’s why we glance

To the stars and stay

In cosmic motion

I fell in love the other day,

I don’t know why.

I’m not quite sure of what to say.

We chatted as it happens all a while.

We laughed, smiled,

The simple act,

The fact of having

Recognized that underlying.

Our conversations flow

Between our eyes,

Beneath a glance or two,

A bright, brilliant ribbon of light began to grow,

Swirled freely around my heart.

Magnificence cast its spell,

I surrendered to the art,

To the bewilderment of you.

Once Red, now turns to Blue.

This vibrance felt in me, flows from where?

Is this how love happens to start?

Afar out there beyond the dark,

You are now alive in me, a spark,

Beating, thudding irregularly across my breast,

Excitement in a pearl,

A home open to the few,

Is now yours to touch,

Enriching me; grace means so much.

Sweet smiles cross the night,

To turn in me this living key around, around, around.

Treasure is this place within me found,

Shines blue, its gorgeous light,

To dazzle us; our beating hearts,

Is this right? Yet could be wrong?

Is this life in motion with a song?

It is new.

Yes! lifelong I’ve listened,

Waiting for this harmony, a symphony in blue,

Now turns again to Red in me,

To Red in you.

Falling snow
from a fire the glow
Warm the tips of
my frozen touch

The wet driven sky
The leafless tree
The pale sun gone
The cry in me
The crackle and split
The words caught alight
This winter moment
This dark cold night

My thoughts in flight
Leap sparkling high
Tossed in silver to a velvet sky

Beyond the ice
Beyond the snow
Beyond golden glow
Beyond these complex thoughts

Dwell the you
Dwell the me
Dwell the much
Dwell the image
the crystal touch.
Oh!

Of a morning wake
A new born day
Flushed your cheek
You turn my way
Whisper warm smile
then say,
I love you.

My love resembles the radiance of a rainbow’s arch,

These vivid colors display my emotional search,

A brilliant, vibrant display of the soul,

Against the sun’s warm embrace, it makes me whole.

From a crimson red blaze to an orange spire,

Passion, too, ignites in me a raging fire,

Yellow’s embrace, the sun’s warmth, touch my lips,

Love’s presence I feel, a bond which grips.

Emerald’s cool calm, a scene that’s so serene,

This joy fills my heart with green.

Cerulean like skies that stretch above,

Enduring blue and pure, like the white dove.

Indigo goes deep, where secrets hide and seek,

In love’s mystique, they’re unveiled, each is unique.

Violet, the veil of a regent’s cloak,

Love’s enchantment forever bespoke.

Nature creates a rainbow’s radiant arc,

The love guides us through light and dark,

Colors blend, emotions flow,

Hips I seek to understand

The blue in heaven

Sparkles from within your inner eye

I know you not or why

Yet, you have entered my blood

Melting fresh as a mountain stream

This moment of recognition
