Love is not a fleeting feeling;

It is the wild, eternal pulse of being,

The secret lily that stirs the stars,

And whispers to the roots of the earth.

It carries the ache of our human heart,

Yet spills far beyond our individual stories,

A luminous striving force, both intimate and infinite,

Woven through all that breathes and becomes.

Love is the greatest alchemist,

Binding the fragments into wholeness,

Transforming wounds to thresholds we cross,

While stilling the restless ocean of the soul.

It is the river shaping the contours of my existence,

The tide rising toward my belonging,

Always forming, unfolding, creating 

A hymn sung in the language of becoming.

Yet love remains a mystery,

Vaster than our longing can fathom,

More generous than our grasp can hold.

It is, a truth too great for words,

Living in you, in me,

And in the unbroken oneness of us all.

Love is also more than emotion,

The pulse within all that lives,

A flame to ignite the heart of being.

An oceanic breath, enfolding gives.

Love weaves the scattered into wholeness.

Heals the jagged edges of our days.

The silent architect of our becoming,

An unseen hand shaping all our ways.

It reveals itself in small gesture,

The courage found in forgiving shame,

The depth of a gaze where love compels you,

The warmth of touch that heals the pain.

Yet all we’ve named, all we’ve known of love,

Is but a glimpse of its infinite horizon.

All ever-present, ever-giving grace,

A mystery too great to be held by heaven.

Loves weaving, threads through time and space.

We, too, should ponder this being of light,

For our souls bare love in the quiet of this first night,

Here cosmic dust, touches the shimmer of distant stars,

Falls softly into the cradle of our being, filling it with joys.

Like those stars, whose brilliance stirs our wonder,

We, too, sparkle to become, 

To ascend through the wonder of growth.

Leaving the embers of our suffering, 

Scattered to the winds,

Sharing the brightness we now wear.

And in our kindled hearts, let’s set the world alight!

The wishes of my heart this night

Hear, love’s true words, will surely teach,  

Rise high blue skies, our hands too reach.  

When carved by love, words  are secure,  

And in the heart, they long endure.

My life’s peace finds, where this flame grows,  

A page alone, where kindness knows.

Come near you all, feel its beat,  

And from its light, our hearts sing sweet.

Now with your love, inscribe for me  

Words that will last for eternity.

So let our souls, like ink, entwine,  

To pen this story beyond space and time.

My ode to dawn, your kiss so sweet,

With tender whispers, day I greet.

Your love, it flows through fingertips,

In silence reflects, words on lips.

My eyes close, yet your presence clear,

In tranquil heart, you draw near.

A bud, a rose, your essence fair,

Perfume my thoughts, perfume the air.

Morning’s grace, joy’s gentle rise,

Reflecting love in azure eyes.

In your gaze, our souls reveal,

The ode we share, a bond we feel.

Love’s tender bloom, a sacred seal,

This silent morn, we now reveal,

Our Love.

Let time’s grey shroud, wrapt, heavy with sleep’s embrace,

Of days when youth’s blossom kissed the evening air.

Beside the fire’s flicker, grasp I now this book with care,

Each word a whisper, a memory we trace.

Amongst the shadows, echoes laughter once danced,

Reflect I on loves, both true and authentic guise,

It’s how we see, reveals truth unto our eyes,

Yet amidst the throng, one soul took chance.

Lean close to this fire’s warmth, join hearts at play,

Whisper softly of Love’s flight, in silent stead.

And hide their faces, amongst the heavens, overhead.

While others fled to the mountains, where stars held sway.

Sonnet: Thirst of Love

Upon life’s stage, where shadows dance and play,

Thou art the sunshine, warming every scene,

Yet veiled in mist, like dawn’s ethereal sheen,

A fog thats wrapped in mystery, so fey.

Thou art the water, crystal-clear and sweet,

A stream that flows through valleys of delight,

Yet in my vase, the drought persists despite,

A thirst, my longing heart that can’t retreat.

O paradox of love, a tempest’s brew,

Thy rays, a balm, doth ease the ache I bear,

Yet in this mist, I find a silent prayer,

It’s in this vase, my yearning doth accrue.

Oh! sunshine bright and fog, a mystic shroud,

Thou art the essence in my thirst endowed.
