Poetry: Hidden

The growing blossom contains the flood

Of coming colors within it’s bud

While it’s God’s firm hold as this unfolds

Which reveals the form to the rose, behold.

My fingers are benign things too

Also grown in the image of who

Helps the leaves in green appear

From mighty stems which seem austere.

It’s in the peace of wonder free

We watch the rose

We catch the glow

We feel the joy

We touch the bud

We turn to love

After the realization

Comes a need to uncover, the deeper self ignites

To know more, see more, understand more

This catharsis is a journey of intent

Incinerating all but the truth

The Grail, your pure-self, the ever shining alchemical gold

Me free of personality

Returns to this cosmic imagination

The ever surging wave of an endless ocean

Of which, we, are it’s constituent atoms

It’s magnificent energy

Simply all,

Becomes a conscious part from which we reintegrate

The love

We are and with which I again will reunite.

If I was to Die

Poetry: If I was to die

If I was to die,

Who would shed those tears,

That I should cry?

Who would laugh & carefree sing,

An ode to life that happiness brings?

Who would greet each morn,

With grace and ring to feast?

Fill the cup, drain the horn,

Make the mark, light that spark ,

Turn the page, calm the rage.

Yet, I am here…not forlorn !

Warming skin the ray is born,

The mystery of now,

How we each reach,

Into the fore, fulfil the list of do and done

Race from A to B and back

Complete the plan, keep on track

Let those hamsters spin in glee,

We don’t belong in carousels , ourselves

We question , answer , ask & do

We grow, feel, find & flow

We know , there is more,

more, more, more…

So open the door of today

Say; “Sad I would cry,

If I was to die ?”

In the distance between holding on to

It’s in the moment of letting go

You call out;

“Fly,show me God how you dive between omega and infinity.”

You alone,can comprehend this life’s grasp

How to move in peaceful ways at last

Where life lived in joy

Reiterates the call to gratitude

In the distance between holding on to

It’s in the moment of letting go

We cry out;

“I commend my soul to thee.”

Then fly to free, Immersed in one oceanic energy

Built upon this plinth life unfolds untold

Manifold in forms anew The babe cries to drink

A glass cracks in the sink

A step is taken on the moon

For whom ask I, for whom?

In my thoughts,

I reach out not knowing when

I might touch your hair

Stare into the invisible blue of your aquamarine gaze

This imagined invitation is trust, is true

To share in depth with your blue

It’s this vision of a future fair

You playing Satè, quietly in my heart

I go smiling, fly another thousand miles to meet the part

Blinded by the intensity of a wish

To congeal my feelings, create emotions

You now page a book of poems

Remarkably eloquent insights, captured remarks

Include the jive of this emotional connectivity

As you flow, unintentionally rich into my imagination

Again and again and again.

As we first touch

It turns out, the thoughts

Your mindfulness is an embrace

My hands run through airy space

Your invisibility fills me with a caress

Yet lips I yearn to know address

The fascination of these features fine

The curve, the flow of beauty around your cheek

Hips I seek to understand

A cascade in gold tumbles across this sky

The blue in heaven

Sparkles from within your inner eye

I know you not or why

Yet, you have entered my blood

Melting fresh as a mountain stream

This moment of recognition

Is meant to define me too

This eternity of who

This infinity of you.

Poem: A Grain of Sand

With determined chin I fix my gaze & march forward to meet this day.

My site is set, the magnitude, the entire grasp of which has freed my mind.

So climb until you reach the pinnacle of your space.

Stand and bare your chest, arms outstretched to the rising sun.

Speak in tongues,

of times to come, of things you’ve seen, of deeds undone.

Let’s take this moment,

it’s potential captured in a grain of sand.

Upon the pinnacle where I stand.

Throw it out for the world to grab with catching hand.

Will we comprehend the magnificence of Who we are ?

Will we recognize the true magnitude of the good?

We are not captives in this universal world of stars and planets, of meteorites and cosmic dark holes.

We are its creators !

Emergent from this shining dust.

We have transmutated from that hot cosmic flash and towards its source we will return in the course of living time.

To find the source, to find the seed, to find the meaning this life gives to me.

Yet we are many and with this more,

we should,

we could unite,

with one gaze with one vivid insight .

Transform or even create a future good and fair and strong.

A place for joy and love and care, eradicate the wrong.

Upon the pinnacle You stand alone,

In rays of light You meet the future home.

Arms outstretched to left to right,

Reaching those who’ve made the moment too.

The time is right, let the vision of the future call to all.

Unite!

The dawn will turn to day

Suspicion will go away

You, will be here to stay

When I wait

The rose will share it’s sent

The snow will begin to melt

You, will feel what I have felt

Your moments they will pass

So too memories of the past

You, will simply loose your mask

The sails will fill the sea

All time goes still in me

You, will feel truth and see

When I wait

Your silence will awake

Your soul will in you shake

Your love will in me take

The Candle

Poem: The Candle

At times I’m deep and dreary

I’ve also known despair

A shadow lives around the corner underneath the stairs

Those fingers curling, surge and grab

Taking laughter from all things

That’s how my freedom, lost its wings.

But one things true, I found in me

We’re not alone, not even in the dark

For beating deep inside, a candle is my heart

It’s towards this candle sometimes,

With shuffling heavy tread

I search the dark in this lost night before I go to bed

It’s all I have to search for

A tiny flame of hope

Imbued with light and grown within that place to which I grope

Sneaking around the corner,

The morning wakes and I

Rub my eyes, stretch my arms for today I’ll learn to fly

With it, find I meaning

Lonely though I may be

It’s from that candle in the dark but I will set me free.
