Poetry: Dance

In the whirl and spin of life,

Joy’s intention slips

Tippy toes into my mind.

Mind tangled, heart entwined

I overlooked the call

to dance life’s Sacred band.

O’ Sacred One,

release my feet

from bonds of confusion

Craft me a smile,

to Love, to uplift this

and raise others high.

Set free, my soul

Thus we shall dance

Infected with the rhythm

Across the sky.
