Poetry: Power of Love

Upon this page, my pen doth etch in ink

The verses of my soul, its deep desires

Yet, on this paper, love’s font cannot link

For it’s heavenly script, to which my heart aspires

When chiseled in love, words may forever please

And within hearts walls, their power turn

My life, within its sacred halls, does ease

A place where love’s eternal flame doth burn

And all who enter may its warmth behold

And from its passion, may they also learn

So, with your brush of love, inscribe for me

Immortal words that all the world may see.
