Poetry: Insanity

Poetry: Insanity

by Liam

Insanity, upon whose slender lips

My seeking has for so long been lost

My reasoning has for so long

Brought visitations of chaos, times fear reverberate

I knocked, hard loud & clear for so long

Then, when I stepped back, let go

Making space for that invisible door

It swung open revealing

I’d always been on the inside anyway

No marvelous secrets

Just profound recognition.
