The Veil Beyond

Your presence wounds me, sharp and deep,

Each word a blade that strikes the heart.

Like a venomous sting, it spreads,

A poison through these fragile veins,

That once held us in sacred trust.

Now a darkened web is woven,

Pain, relentless in its touch.

Yet, in this wound, is a hidden grace,

An antidote long buried waits.

Though love’s absence chokes my breath,

And the light of dawn reveals the stark,

Barren landscapes of my soul,

Still, in this desolate silence,

Something eternal moves.

I stand alone, bones laid bare,

Awaiting night to close the day.

And in the quiet fold of dark,

A gentle hand will draw the veil.

Beyond the heaviness of now,

There lies a place where shadows heal—

Where light will rise,

And take me home,

Take me back,

Again.

Poem: The Quiet Architect

Beneath the quiet breath of morning’s rise,

It’s not the world that shapes me—

I am the quiet architect of each hour,

Weaving time’s tender threads:

The who, the why, the where, the unfolding how.

Who else can hold the sun within their chest?

A heart so fierce it breaks through sorrow’s weight,

Not simply to mend, but to bloom and grow anew.

For like a ripple stirred by a single drop,

Light, too, spreads in waves, dissolving night,

Again and again, the dawn is ours to claim.

With it comes the call to rise, to heal,

To change the course, and set things right.

So let us stand in the light we bear,

And shape the world with hands of care.

We, too, should ponder this being of light,

For our souls bare love in the quiet of this first night,

Here cosmic dust, touches the shimmer of distant stars,

Falls softly into the cradle of our being, filling it with joys.

Like those stars, whose brilliance stirs our wonder,

We, too, sparkle to become, 

To ascend through the wonder of growth.

Leaving the embers of our suffering, 

Scattered to the winds,

Sharing the brightness we now wear.

And in our kindled hearts, let’s set the world alight!

This morning is a melody,  

A quiet hum, a whispered song,  

Rising in the breath of dawn.  

The laughter in the air rings bright,  

Each note shimmers, each pause alights-

And as I wake, the world awakens too,  

In the curve of your hand, see I the mystery of you.

There is joy in this—a gentle note,  

A rhythm that beckons us into solace.  

The day begins, not with rush or haste,  

But in the stillness shared, in the trust we embrace.

To this moment, we come as one—  

Our hearts tuned to  a harmonious tone.  

Let us lift the octave of our day,  

Let us rise, in the giving, in the song sung play.

For the music of life flows in the beat of hearts,

Melody and rhythm, where all our journey starts.

The sky takes the song—wide look see,

A chorus inviting all to be- free

Alive in love, awake in deed,  

To plant the seed where hope may grow,  

To touch the world, to let it know—

That here, now, in this fleeting day,  

Is where we sing, is where we stay.  

Tomorrow may not wait or idle,

So live, and love, while there’s light let’s play.  

For some, the dawn may have gone—  

For us today, let’s fill it with song.

When carved by love, words  are secure,  

And in the heart, they long endure.

My life’s peace finds, where this flame grows,  

A page alone, where kindness knows.

  

Come near you all, feel its beat,  

And from its light, our hearts sing sweet.

Now with your love, inscribe for me  

Words that will last for eternity.

So let our souls, like ink, entwine,  

To pen this story beyond space and time.

And in those flowing waters, you’ll be made whole,

As thoughts, like divine threads, unfold their truth.

These are not just empty words,

But woven threads of meaning, touching the soul,

Bringing you back to life’s light,

Showing how all our hearts are connected.

When trapped in the cold stare of sorrow,

Let rich colors—indigo, red, green—

Breathe life back into your spirit,

And bring back the joy that once bloomed within.

And when your thoughts drift in a dark sea,

When your mind feels worn and lost,

A path of shining moonlight will appear,

Guided by quiet words that mend your broken dreams.

Don’t let despair take over your heart,

For wisdom speaks in every fiber,

Calling you gently back to the place

Where souls are nourished in the light.

Let the earth’s abundance guide you,

The whispering wind, the steady flow of the ocean,

Wrap yourself in words, with love surrounding you,

Let their beauty protect and uplift you.

For words, born of thoughts, are never cold,

But burn with an eternal flame, pure and bold.

Into the distance, I whisper, ”Tell me about the patience of thy art.”  

To those, who’s gaze beyond my eyes to heaven’s shore,  

And whisper soft, “Let silence play its part;  

Forbearance leads you to your deepest core.”

The path of Love, is a journey of the soul,  

A song that mind alone can’t ever sing.  

It whispers truths the heart has always known,  

Beyond the grasp of thought’s own imagining.  

So let your spirit rest in quiet grace,  

And trust the timing of the stars above.  

For patience, like an artist, finds its place,  

And paints with care your masterpiece of Love.  

In stillness, allow the wonder to unfold,  

For patience turns your leaden dreams to gold.

The dignity of this sorrow lies between

Your sadness and my distress.

We had those struggles,

Interludes of passion too,

Before you went your way,

Hair wavering, eyes blistered with tears.

Anger tore up the flower garden in my heart,

Leaving sorrow, or was it sadness,

Clinging letter by letter to those few resilient weeds.

We tried again and again, but our holy ground was wasted.

Sorrow’s resignation is no place to plant love,

Sadness no place to accept happiness.

Captured in distress,

Caught in the quietude,

My reflection shattered.

My soul, which mattered,

Reached out into the still pool,

Where I found this

Pearl.

The more exact, the less excess,  

In simplicity, we find life’s success.  

The size of what we choose,  

Defines how we embrace or lose.  

Yet in its humble, silent grace,  

Simplicity reveals its true place.  

For in quietude, stripped of all its buzz,  

Magnificence begins to rise to rush.

A balanced art, so finely spun,  

Simplicity and grace spin into one.  

In simplicity, the heart is free,  

Let’s  dance into grace and harmony.
