Work life balance:

Describe your ideal week.

Balancing various aspects of life, including work, creativity, exercise, nutrition, meditation, social relationships, and family, is crucial for overall well-being.

Here’s how you could approach each of these aspects within the context of work-life balance:

1. Work:

– Set clear boundaries: Establish specific working hours and stick to them. Avoid overworking, and make sure to disconnect from work-related tasks outside of those hours.

– Prioritize tasks: Focus on high-priority tasks during your most productive hours, which can vary from person to person.

2. Creativity:

– Schedule creative time: Allocate time in your week for creative endeavors, whether it’s writing, painting, music or any other form of self-expression.

– Embrace breaks: Creativity often thrives when you take short breaks to clear your mind and let new ideas flow.

3. Exercise:

– Consistency is key: Incorporate regular exercise into your weekly routine. Even short daily workouts can have a positive impact on your health and energy levels.

– Mix it up: Choose activities you enjoy to make exercise more sustainable and enjoyable.

4. Happy Nutrition:

– Plan meals: Prepare balanced meals in advance to ensure you have healthy options readily available during the workweek.

– Mindful eating: Pay attention to what and how you eat, avoiding mindless snacking or overindulging due to stress.

5. Meditation:

– Daily practice:

Dedicate a few minutes each day to mindfulness meditation to reduce stress and increase mental clarity.

– Integration: Integrate mindfulness into your daily activities, such as during breaks at work or while commuting.

6. Social Relationships:

– Quality over quantity: Nurture meaningful relationships by spending quality time with loved ones and friends.

– Plan social activities: Schedule regular gatherings or outings to maintain connections.

7. Family:

– Family time: Prioritize dedicated time with your family, whether it’s during meals, outings, or specific family activities.

– Communication: Keep open lines of communication to understand & support each family member’s needs and expectations.

This simple system touches the main aspects of all of our lives. It’s certainly helped to get my life happily back on track. Liam

Holding a grudge.

Are you holding a grudge? About?

Having a grudge can consume your thoughts and energy, making it challenging to move forward or find peace until you’ve resolved the issue or forgiven the person involved. Often enough it’s ourselves that we hold a grudge against. Liam

What does your ideal home look like?

My ideal home is the one in which I live. This home has no windows or doors, no kitchen nor living room, but it does have a heart which fills me with joy every day. This home has two strong eyes which see the world in all it’s magnificent, enabling me to find whatever it is that I need or I seek. my home is also equipped for travel with a strong, healthy body, which takes me to Beaches, mountain tops, through forests and through hills. But more than anything my home has a place where I go to rest and it’s in this quietude at all else finds its meaning, its richness and its joy. Liam.

Us Friends

Poetry: Us Friends

by Liam

In language, ethereal as a whispered kiss,

Friends, dear companions, we reminisce.

Each biography a fine piece of art,

We orbit the globe, where these friendships did start.

Once youthful vessels, bodies defying the years,

In our hearts, sweet this spirit perseveres.

A bond of camaraderie, we still do confide,

Till eternity beckons, when our paths sadly divide.

Let us dwell in this instant, of a tapestry spun,

Memories interwoven, laughter and fun.

Raise high the goblet, let jubilations flow,

To memories embraced, and those yet to bestow.

To the future dawn, yet unwritten we will go,

Always, as friends as this ode does propose.
