Your love forms me, in each arc,

In every swing of that hammer.

It shapes me, molds my incongruity,

Enabling the way I receive light.

The ring and crash upon the anvil,

Shower sparks of admonition.

Each a recognition,a reflection

of who I’m becoming with you.

Its force forged in the fire of love,

Molds my flesh in intricate ways.

Warming, invigorating my blood,

The sensitivity of your lips crafts my soul.

Gently rinses away the stains, straightens the creases

Enabling that which is immortal to recognize

itself

Me reaching out anew ,

Embracing this moment, you, and laughing.

Craft the vision, the “you,”

Invisible becomes tangible.

It’s our lips which first taste the future,

The moment tattooed into the fabric of forever.

In the arc of your love,

The form of your perception creates me too,

Hammers my ineptitude with forgiveness,

Straightens my inconsequence with gratitude.

This malleability of soul

Is the substance of our consent,

The direction of what we wish to achieve,

The meaning of that which we have become.

One.

Each a master crafting,

What makes us real,

What makes us true,

What brings us together.

Love.

Love is a celestial quest, divine,

Where words, like feathers, gracefully align.

This pen, this ink, this page, my humble tools,

As thoughts take flight, like birds from airy schools.

Within God’s embrace, my words find worth,

They lift with lightness, flying high from Mother Earth.

As air flow lifts their meaning to the skies,

Love’s reflection shines, as sun on eagle’s eyes.

Infinite moments captured in the sands of time,

Poetry, held in this hand, contemplates a rhyme.

Words, like stars, guide us searching on their way,

An astrolabe, for lovers show us where to play.

Here, love expresses this grand design,

As Shakespeare’s quill, too, did weave words sublime.

For in my ode, let lovers’ glow forever swell,

An expression of the truth we have to tell.

Sonnet: About Longing

In this yearning pain, love’s ardor takes flight,

For ’tis in longing here sweet treasures lie,

A dance betwixt two souls, concealed from sight,

As if our beings touch through veils awry.

What lies between us, is a realm unseen,

Where hopes and dreams they intertwine with grace,

A realm where magic, truth, and care convene,

And bind our spirits in loves embrace.

Do my feelings reflect the truth you see?

And does my gaze perceive your love’s decree?

In movement, we entwine, within emotion’s spell,

This metaphor of longing in which we both dwell.

Though distance may persist, our hearts remain,

Connected by the longing that knows no pain.

Upon this golden day, so warm and light,

Nature’s embrace in hues of green and blue,

Yet, in your presence, is love eternal bright,

Outshines the sun, my heart belongs to you.

That orb, it spreads its ray upon the land,

Embraces meadow, kissed by gentle breeze,

But your sweet touch, is warmth I understand,

Awakens love, a fire to never cease.

The birds, they cheep their melodies so sweet,

This symphony of joy fills the tranquil air,

But in your voice, an Angel sings complete,

In harmony which takes away all care.

So let this summer’s day, with nature’s art,

Be a glimpse of you, this love, within my heart.

Such exquisite words, a tender embrace.

Within this verse, a world takes shape,

What is it that these mirrors hold,

Infinitesimal wonders to behold?

You and I, intertwined in this grand design,

A dance of light, of momentary madness sublime.

In this tapestry of spinning hues,

Thoughts and emotions, love imbues.

Whose love loves love? The answer unclear,

For what truly matters is that we are clear, my dear.

Why not engage in love’s ardent embrace?

Despite its struggles, the anguish, the pain,

For naught is gained from flames that leave no trace,

But from their ashes, love’s Phoenix shall rise again.

From dust and grey, a living form takes flight,

Born once again, shines in radiant glance,

Blessed by the Gods’ own celestial light,

Free from the past, in this present dance.

In this ecstatic emulsion of emotion,

Unabated in its fervent flow,

No worldly force can tear apart our devotion,

As we surrender to its fiery glow.

For it’s love I’ve found, alive and free,

In this poetic transformation of you and me.
