I close my mouth, yet cry.

And try to speak, but words come last.

Why it’s silence makes me sigh.

My way to do, what you do too

Is here in me to find.

Yet quietude must first be true

Before I find God’s mind.

So speak to me a thousand times,

Not a single thing was heard,

For all that matters is your heart,

In that, God spoke these words.

Poetry: The Ocean

In the vast expanse, the heart, an ocean wide,

Where thoughts like waves in ceaseless motion flow,

The pebbled shoreline, where our spirits bide,

Reveals the depths of what your heart may stow.

To every soul, it speaks in silent tones,

Sharing secrets kept in ocean’s hidden chest,

These whispered truths, like ancient stones,

The ocean’s depths, with longing hearts, confessed.

For within the heart, the tides reside,

Your world of feelings, surging deep and wide,

The pebbled shore, a mirror to the soul,

Reflects the love and dreams that make us whole.

Poetry: The Tree

Just outside my window, there stands a golden tree.

Every leaf in autumn is a letter left for me.

Some have many colors, from green to crispy brown.

I keep these in a big old book hidden in the lounge.

On each leaf’s a story. I’ll share one if you like.

“Be patient, kind, and curious,” I’m reminded of this day.

“Grow to be the truth in you,” another leaf did say.

“Light is where we come from; light is where we go.”

“Love is all creation, so always let it grow.”

These words, they are whispered by a whisperer deep in thee,

Written down by God’s own hand, on leaves below the tree.

Now while you walk amongst them, feet firmly on the ground,

Keep your eyes on God’s good love,

And you too will be found.

Poetry: Love’s Ballet

Take the cue, embrace love, start anew,

Auburn locks aflutter in this tender ballet.

Dance, let your feet tell a tale, of a love imbued,

With twirls and swirls allow your heart lead the way.

Free up your mind, the observer’s applause will ring,

For within you, love’s magic takes a chance.

Here, in this beautiful chaos, our spirits cling,

These wild minutes of freedom, love’s sweet romance.

Threads entwined, as we draw ever closer,

To a time without a beginning or an end,

We will dance a ballet to our own composer,

Following the magic, forever till we ascend.

What’s in your sight, ’tis I, who am the same as you,

Eternal bond our souls in perfect light.

This semblance that you see, thy soul’s own twin,

In me, reflected, you shall ever bind.

As timeless as these universe’s spin,

While walking the rim of a moon-swept sea,

Arm in arm with a thought called me.

We chatted, we talked, we pondered on high,

About the meaning of being, of seeing, of I.

The roar of surf, the sweep of tide,

In the blood-red pulse, a seagull cried.

In this screech, shone the moon-filled sea,

The moment deep, the you in me.

We now unite in a flash of sight,

The I who we were before the call.

My paradigm absorbed in newfound light,

Two melted to one, this emergent in all.

Inspired insight happens within you too,

A way to see, a way to feel, a way to become equanimity.

Their invisibility gives me strength to adorn,

To soar where few birds cry,

High clouds where eagles fly.

With these pinions wide we glide

How we see amazes me

even more,

Blind, I move across oceans wide and far,

Above snow-covered peaks

your shining star.

Hand in hand, together we find,

What we had flown for,

Who we came to discover

How we’d been lost, but then found

A heartbeat within eternity,

A wing stroke from infinity,

This feather, with which my love song is blessed.

Poem: Experience the Insight

Aware, within this moment, I wake not in serenity,

But in thoughts caught up with yesterday’s intricacy.

A breeze lifts my sight,

Quietly admitting in the light.

Mentally a flowers bud unfolds

Revealing the subtle frailty.

The intimacy of understanding the invisible

Insight into tomorrow’s untold tale.

The sagacity of this interconnected glory

Tweaking my puzzledness, I cry out in surprise,

Smiling unpremeditatedly, I’m drawn deeper,

Made freer, more universal in this uniqueness.

It’s the steady mindful focus

Me pushing forward into my depths.

Snooping around in my subconscious menagerie

Collecting crumbs, fragments minuscule titbits and insights

It’s then in the letting go we move

Flowing forward, slipping into the groove

Perceptivity answers, echoes with a shiny reflection

Like sweetly eating a plump berry

It’s rush of taste, making me cringe

Before I realize it’s not quite ripe

Indeed insight, is only sweet when ready

Let me see it all, if only I remain steady.
