I bathe with your moonlight

Letting love capture my fine shadows

Learning how words spin them to glitter

Which shine amongst these lines of verse

Each a symbol of how we

Transmigrate from me to free

From ego to enigma

From I to universal

All within the rays of purest reflection

Light turns us towards ourselves

Each a universe recognizing its primary source

Each a spark to illuminate the course

Back to inception.

Will always show you a secret gate

Through which to run, escape

You are not alone, skin or hair

You are a soul which resides in there

Which resides in peace

In a place called love

We, a drop in which this ocean heaves.

Throw your life into those seas

Feet remaining firm

Your heart remembering again

The source from whence we came

To which we will again

Return in the course of given time

Together let’s lift a cheer

It’s not wine which wets our lips

It’s life rejoicing

In recognition of itself.

While walking the rim of a moon swept sea.

Arm in arm with a thought called me.

We chatted we talked we pondered on high.

About the meaning of being, of seeing, of I.

The roar of surf the sweep of tide.

In the blood red pulse a seagull cried.

In this screech, shone the moon filled sea.

The moment deep, the you in me.

The I who we were before the call.

United now in a flash of sight.

My paradigm absorbed in new found light.

Inspired insight happens within you too.

A way to see, a way to feel, a way to join

In these myriad worlds

life’s journey is for each unique

The homeless droplet in a cloudless night

Returns, as the petals transparent pearl

Opening it’s chest, the souls winged flight

Sings with nightingales

All round the sickle moon

A reminder, we move to our fullest, we rise, we fall, we ascend

Again, again growth begins

From our earth we create new gold

From the bitter berry we form sweet lavenders blush

Why dance we though forlorn?

Around us all the glory of acceptation

For the seed lay brown, lay fallow, lay long

Accept the sun for these are more than rays

This is your light awakening on the bud

Become the comeliness

Become the rightful owner

of that which was once in night

Turns to pearl

Turns to right

Turns to light.

I thought that I was lost

I too, felt alone and cold

I gather tears wet and worrisome

Without trying to recollect or recognize

The pool only reflects when it’s perfectly still

In peaceful quietude

I see myself and in this recover the light

I’ve always been shining

Knowing to find the way again

I will move home towards the moment

We mortals are born to rediscover

Peacefully within our reflections.

Poem: The Captain

Upon the bridge he took his stand.

The captains look a journey planned.

To distant star, it’s light still dim.

Blazing gold the radiant rim.

Of a setting sun,

against a rising tide.

Moon was full the seagull cried.

The urchin curled within its shell.

A shooting star,

to the ringing bell.

Horizon cut the dark in two!

In ocean deep

We are the few to leave….

the wave,

the wet,

the blue.

Fly, through the heavens on a stary night.

Sails filled with moon milky light,

On sparkling spume.

The firmament we’ll trawl.

Constellations be the ports of call.

Pieces, Sagittarius, Andromeda too.

To visit you wonder, the question who?

Let it be spoken

Let it be said

Those lonely souls, while you sleep in bed.

Received us well,

With both laughter & joy.

We traded our memories, dreams, thoughts and ideas.

We threw over board the worry and fears.

To sunsets new rising,

A waking new day.

I’d passaged the cosmos.

I’d found a new way.

Of grabbing the moment,

Of touching the pulse.

Of living the fullest.

Of being my most.
