Breaking Through

Should life break, even crack you,

the soul will whisper —

Saying you are ready to be remade,

To be gathered differently, with tender bands.

Each shattered shard feels,

like a fragment seeking a new place,

finding a new purpose only time can reveal,

a meaning shaped by quiet grace.

Trust your cracks, for there,

the light is absorbed into you—

its gentle beams healing,

illuminating the way to health.

In the brokenness, we meet ourselves again,

and in that meeting, we realize wholeness also happens.

With the courage to rebuild, to reimagine,

to let loves strength take on a new form.

Really we are never broken,

But breaking through—

becoming more than we ever were.

The Sixth Day

Creation never stopped on the sixth day—

it moves still, beneath the radiant glow of mornings,

in the dark pull of tides and the leaning of trees toward light.

It breathes through us, between our words or letters,

in the spaces we think are empty,

yet are full with the pulse of the unseen.

We call it love,

though it is older than the name we give it—

a force that knows no stopping,

rising in us like a river breaking its own banks,

flooding us with the ache of becoming.

It walks beside us,

in the ordinary moments we miss—

in the turn of a leaf, the warmth of skin,

the sudden silence when the heart remembers

it has always belonged

to something infinite,

something that has never once paused even, 

After the sixth day.

Principles for a fulfilling Life!

Gratitude and mindfulness are powerful practices for enhancing life satisfaction. Gratitude fosters contentment by focusing on what you have, appreciating both the small and significant moments. Mindfulness allows you to fully engage with the present moment, helping to reduce stress and worry by grounding you in the here and now.

Strong, meaningful relationships are at the heart of a fulfilled life. Deep connections with others—whether family, friends, or a partner—provide emotional richness, comfort, and a profound sense of belonging. Investing in these relationships helps to create a foundation of support and love.

Lastly, personal growth and contribution add layers of fulfillment. Continually seeking opportunities to learn and evolve keeps life dynamic and enriching. Equally important is contributing to the well-being of others, whether through small acts of kindness or using your skills and talents to make a positive impact on the world. Together, these elements create a life filled with purpose, joy, and connection.

Being is my quiet light,

A flame that flickers through the threads of time,

Bringing warmth, a slow unveiling,

Guiding me like the compass of wisdom,

Where whispers of insight stir the dawn winds,

Delicate as breath, vast as sky.

Let me be open, wide as the horizon unbroken,

Untethered from the weight of this moment.

Do not let fear tighten my heart’s expanse,

For we are vast, we are much more than we know,

We call upon the stars, and they answer,

Gathering themselves into the constellations of our longing.

And should I step beyond the walls

That preconception and creed have built,

And enter those fields where spirit runs wild?

For, as Rumi speaks:

“To be a candle is no light thing;

One must burn before offering flame.”

Yes, I too shall burn—

Not to diminish, but to dissolve the feeble self,

To melt away the bonds of thought and be reborn,

Liberated, my soul expands to touch the edges of the infinite.

In this fire, I claim my niche,

Yet, with the same breath, my belonging to every thing.

I am the ripple, I am the wave, I am the sea,

I am the ever-moving tide of being.

Be true.

Be the deep, ancient pulse of life.

Be boundless.

Be free.

Burn—and in that burning, become.

The Veil Beyond

Your presence wounds me, sharp and deep,

Each word a blade that strikes the heart.

Like a venomous sting, it spreads,

A poison through these fragile veins,

That once held us in sacred trust.

Now a darkened web is woven,

Pain, relentless in its touch.

Yet, in this wound, is a hidden grace,

An antidote long buried waits.

Though love’s absence chokes my breath,

And the light of dawn reveals the stark,

Barren landscapes of my soul,

Still, in this desolate silence,

Something eternal moves.

I stand alone, bones laid bare,

Awaiting night to close the day.

And in the quiet fold of dark,

A gentle hand will draw the veil.

Beyond the heaviness of now,

There lies a place where shadows heal—

Where light will rise,

And take me home,

Take me back,

Again.

Beneath the quiet breath of morning’s rise,

It’s not the world that shapes me—

I am the quiet architect of each hour,

Weaving time’s tender threads:

The who, the why, the where, the unfolding how.

Who else can hold the sun within their chest?

A heart so fierce it breaks through sorrow’s weight,

Not simply to mend, but to bloom and grow anew.

For like a ripple stirred by a single drop,

Light, too, spreads in waves, dissolving night,

Again and again, the dawn is ours to claim.

With it comes the call to rise, to heal,

To change the course, and set things right.

So let us stand in the light we bear,

And shape the world with hands of care.

We, too, should ponder this being of light,

For our souls bare love in the quiet of this first night,

Here cosmic dust, touches the shimmer of distant stars,

Falls softly into the cradle of our being, filling it with joys.

Like those stars, whose brilliance stirs our wonder,

We, too, sparkle to become, 

To ascend through the wonder of growth.

Leaving the embers of our suffering, 

Scattered to the winds,

Sharing the brightness we now wear.

And in our kindled hearts, let’s set the world alight!

This morning is a melody,  

A quiet hum, a whispered song,  

Rising in the breath of dawn.  

The laughter in the air rings bright,  

Each note shimmers, each pause alights-

And as I wake, the world awakens too,  

In the curve of your hand, see I the mystery of you.

There is joy in this—a gentle note,  

A rhythm that beckons us into solace.  

The day begins, not with rush or haste,  

But in the stillness shared, in the trust we embrace.

To this moment, we come as one—  

Our hearts tuned to  a harmonious tone.  

Let us lift the octave of our day,  

Let us rise, in the giving, in the song sung play.

For the music of life flows in the beat of hearts,

Melody and rhythm, where all our journey starts.

The sky takes the song—wide look see,

A chorus inviting all to be- free

Alive in love, awake in deed,  

To plant the seed where hope may grow,  

To touch the world, to let it know—

That here, now, in this fleeting day,  

Is where we sing, is where we stay.  

Tomorrow may not wait or idle,

So live, and love, while there’s light let’s play.  

For some, the dawn may have gone—  

For us today, let’s fill it with song.

The wishes of my heart this night

Hear, love’s true words, will surely teach,  

Rise high blue skies, our hands too reach.  

  

When carved by love, words  are secure,  

And in the heart, they long endure.

My life’s peace finds, where this flame grows,  

A page alone, where kindness knows.

  

Come near you all, feel its beat,  

And from its light, our hearts sing sweet.

Now with your love, inscribe for me  

Words that will last for eternity.

So let our souls, like ink, entwine,  

To pen this story beyond space and time.
