The time is now to listen up

To the one who made these words

From a mighty field of richness

This silence now emerged

As the barren stone will crumble

In it’s debris, the flower will grow

Beckoning light with simplicity

From it’s petals words will flow

Listen, as this listener

Now becomes the one with words

To lift the letters from that space

Where silence is but heard

So words they living find us

In thought or image they play

In pictures filled with poetry

Listen deep to what they say.

The petals fall towards me

In words each one does say

Inspiration , truth and wisdom

Love is the only way.

We, are all born with wings

It’s their invisibility which holds the power

To soar where few birds cry

High where eagles fly

Listen,

Listen for what you perceive is magnificent

What you see is amazingly clear

With these pinions outspread

I’ve glided across endless seas

Crossed snow covered peaks with ease

To find you, alone, far from heaven

To remind you too, to fly

Not with thoughts,

With the strength of insight

With the muscle of imagination

With the pure recognition

It’s not air beneath our feathers, it’s Light

Which carries us

Which brings us

Together forever.

Your chapter is found in the divine story of life

Written in starlight,

Across the face of the cosmos

When read aloud,

You hear not the thunder of oceans

It’s in the silence of your quietude

All those questions are answered.

When looking for the way to God.

Look at the silver face of the moon

From this mirror, shines an image

You, which recognizes self

This power, creates the macrocosmos

This majesty, recognizes the microcosmos

Go into it, for the recognition

Shows my heart the way home to Gods self.

which rise from the soul

The heat, the energy,

lies unseen in the thing

We take it, we turn it, we burn it

Now we feel it, the energy.

Yet we were mesmerized,

at first by its form

Be not blinded by the smoke or body

The Tree

Poetry: The Tree

Let this Love now be a tree

Branching to infinity

Anchored deep in the eternal me

We like leaf too, bud then wilt

With the seasons, color filled quilt

Take spring buds youth, filled in glee

Summer comes rich, both for you and me

Autumn’s tide turns with golden glow

To pick our planted fruit and know

Winters time, white to silver my hair does fade.

Strife too passes like the falling leaf

Storm shakes the boughs With me it’s grief

It’s my roots which steadfast to the pain

Hold the tree strong for another days gain

Through this all, we are but one

A twig, a branch, a stem, a tree

From a seed grown tall this me

It’s light, it’s sun towards which we strain

My soul, the seed in Gods good gain.

This is the day for the becoming of me

I awoke to song, from the sycamore tree

To a ray of red, shot from a crimson dawn

Left those dreams of battle and horn

To shout the praise of days to come

Of truth, of love, of life, of fun

I stamped my feet to the piper’s drum

Shook with fear from

Those short-range guns

To battle, to die, to rage and rant

The young men screamed, “till death ya part .“

In the smoke, the slash, the heat of steel

The moan of pain, we red coats feel

We fell, to be soaked in blood-covered mud

While others stabbed and cut and killed

The battle plan had been revealed

Ripped by the blast of a short-range shell

The day I died and left that hell

My soul had gone, my heart stopped too

Off into the light, its comfort true.

But I entered not those pearly gates

Nor heeded the call of those forlorn

The sycamore sang of a new fresh morn

The dawn, alight with a message to sing

This is the day for the becoming a king

Return to the broken body I see

Free, cried my mind

Free, sang my heart

Free, of death which almost laughed

Limp, stumble, heal, took I so long

It’s the song I now sing

Each day at the dawn

Reminds me now forever long

Reminds me now of my life, my name

Reminds me, of the game of give and grow

Of happy friends, my family know

To share, to laugh, love and cry

That, was not my day to die

That, was my day to become what you see

Peace is an ocean and the river a conversation

When you look for silence

Step down to the ocean shore

Not the crunch of pebbles, nor the crash of waves

It’s the molecularity which quietens me

Yet when that silence comes searching

Walk not into the river

Where chatter and talk are carried to that endless sea

New Year Message 2023

Dear Poetry Friends,

Yes friends, we share one deep common pleasure. Poetry, the beauty of weaving words in a way which creates more than the sum of their individual parts.

Should my endeavor have sparked your interest, thank you, thank you, thank you!

This is an art to create inspiration and insight which unite us, individually deeper with ourselves, as well as the realization thereby that we also unite with each other in an invisible yet positively uplifting manner.

The year 2022 brought great upheaval and disharmony, let’s each strive in 2023 to create and consciously realign with peace and personal harmony. Like anything this requires activity, focus and effort.

This poetry, is a gift to you and to all everywhere, perhaps these poems could in some way help you in this important endeavor.
