When I wait
The dawn will turn to day
Suspicion will go away
You, will be here to stay

When I wait
The rose will share it’s sent
The snow will begin to melt
You, will feel what I have felt

When I wait
Your moments they will pass
So too memories of the past
You, will simply loose your mask

When I wait
The sails will fill the sea
All time goes still in me
You, will feel truth and see

When I wait
Your silence will awake
Your soul will in you shake
Your love will in me take

Us to a bright new day.

Beyond the confines of right and wrong,

Lies a green field, where sky, you, and I belong.

Don’t dwell in tomorrow’s haze,

Nor linger in yesterday’s maze.

Join me now, embrace the present moment’s gleam,

Let go of your grey, fly with rainbows, allow your dream.

For in this very moment’s grace,

A flower blossoms for us to embrace,

An eternal bud of love, both yours and mine,

It’s God’s given gift, till the end of time.

POEM: Lonesome

Is lonesome only alone in my head?

I lie by myself alone in bed,

Wondering about my family,

Concerned about my life,

Uncertain about my inabilities, my abilities too.

A bucket of thoughts splash around in my mind.

It’s this puddle I slipped on while trying to find,

My me in a bucket, lost in my brain,

A storm brewing thoughts,

Am I going insane?

I feel so alone, here lying in bed.

My phone stares back with a “like” instead.

Not one warm hug,

Not a single kiss,

No real touch,

Yet it’s this that I miss!

I’m lonesome alone in my head,

Yet FBOOK Likes, says it’s differently said.

The truth of the matter is me, in my mind.

Searching the ocean of life to be found,

By a beacon of friendship,

Warm, loving, and true,

By my friends, I’ve met, loved, known, and a few new.

Met on my way through living these years,

That held me a moment while I shed those tears.

In your thoughts, in your feelings,

You carried me well,

Helped lift my bucket of lonely & ill.

Alone still I am.

One more day of my life,

Left my memories of strife.

Knowing, Sharing, Giving,

Yes, this I can.

I’m here by myself, can be wonderful, too.

For in me found, is the beautiful you.

Poetry: The Dance of Life

In this symphony of life, find I my song,

Amidst daffodils and frangipani, I do belong.

Words twirl and soar on a gentle breeze,

Shadows they waltz beneath tall green trees.

In harmony with the buzzing hornets’ flight,

They pirouette, to a magical tunes delight,

Upon spiderweb, in a dew-kissed haze,

A ladybirds’ dance, on a leaf amaze.

Let’s Embrace the rhythm of this precious chance,

We choose joy over strife, in life’s grand dance.

In each step, we opt for love, not a fight,

Guided by truth, we strive to do right.

Together, we share smiles and dry each tear,

United by music that draws us near.

Let us celebrate in this symphony profound,

To our dance of life, from these words’ sweet sound.

What would you change about modern society?

One fundamental change that would enable significant positive progress in society is fostering a widespread culture of empathy and compassion, encouraging people to understand and care for one another, leading to increased cooperation, reduced conflicts, and improved social well-being.
