Integrity

What’s the trait you value most about yourself?

When asked what it means, this came to mind.

Integrity is the quality of being honest, principled, and having strong moral character. It involves consistency in actions, values, methods, measures, and principles. A person with integrity adheres to their ethical beliefs even when faced with temptations or challenges. Integrity is often associated with traits like truthfulness, trustworthiness, and a sense of honor.

It’s the quality that ensures one’s words and deeds align with their core values, promoting trust and respect in both personal and professional relationships.

Essentially, integrity is a steadfast commitment to doing what is right, regardless of the circumstances or potential personal gain. Liam

Three Jobs

List three jobs you’d consider pursuing if money didn’t matter.

Most of us, through our genes and family circumstances bring individual and intrinsic qualities with us into life. With a bit of luck, through childhood, adolescence and young adulthood , these qualities crystallize out and can be recognized as Personal qualities and aspect of our genius. These areas of genius, are as manifold as human life itself.

When our work finds its expression through this talent or genius, we can, and mostly are happy, balanced, and inflow with life.

Personally I wasn’t one of the lucky ones, it’s taken half a lifetime to discover that in writing, creative writing and poetry my intrinsic genius lies. Liam

Find more Love

What could you do more of?

Find More Love
by Liam

I’ve looked for Love since the beginning,
These pieces, each a part of the find,
Found in a puzzle called living,
Lost to my memory and mind.

Hidden for all to discover,
Written for all to read,
Spoken for all to listen,
Is pain that I sometimes bleed.

Cast off my dark cloak of fire,
I’ll ride through the darkness of doubts,
Burn too, I’ll with your desire,
Upon clouds, my soul screams and shouts.

My eyes,
My words,
My hearing,
Understanding stands too in my way.

For alone it’s love which is waiting,
On a rainbow to meet me today.

I got this advice for a happy life:

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

1. Cultivate Gratitude: Focus on the positive aspects of life and practice gratitude daily. Appreciating what you have rather than dwelling on what you lack can bring immense joy.

2. Nurture Relationships: Prioritize meaningful connections with family and friends. Healthy relationships are a cornerstone of happiness, providing support and emotional well-being.

3. Embrace Balance: Strive for a balanced life that includes work, leisure, and self-care. Finding equilibrium in various aspects of life can reduce stress and increase overall contentment.

4. Live in the Present: Don’t dwell on the past or worry excessively about the future. Being present in the moment and mindful of your experiences can lead to greater happiness.

5. Pursue Passions: Engage in activities and hobbies that bring you joy and fulfillment. Pursuing your passions fosters a sense of purpose and satisfaction in life.

These initial five ideas were planted many years ago, and since have grown to become bearers of many new projects.

Life just keeps moving on and it’s always becoming better.

Lots of love, Liam.

The Journey

Poetry: The Journey

by Liam

I too am a traveler,

True, wide, and further.

Mountains traversed, oceans crossed, and deserts wandered,

Yet, only after I immobilized my body,

Literally stopped moving,

Did the real journey begin.

This was truly amazing.

Not the movement of a muscle,

Nor the twitch of an eyelid,

Yet, it was further away than I’d ever ventured before.

I decided

To make the journey to the very deepest,

The very most hidden core of myself.

It was a journey, for it was not made in a day,

Took weeks, took months where I meditated quietly.

Each time returning with insights.

Firstly,

The treasure of my past,

In its detail, in its glory,

Its pain and its healing.

Thereafter, things became different.

I wasn’t going somewhere.

I was becoming something.

Merging with a field of energetic possibilities.

It is a melting.

It is a dissolving.

It is an absorbing.

Funny,

In this, never for a moment

Did I lose contact

With that which is intrinsically me.

That which was before my birth,

That which will remain after leaving this sheath.

This was my guide as I vanished.

This was my keeper as I merged.

This was the center of nothing.

This was the core of peace.

This is the journey I began.

I am and forever will be

traveling.

What things give us energy?

What things give you energy?

The Three Pillars of our Energy: Physical, Emotional, and Spiritual:

by Liam

Introduction

Energy is the life force that drives us forward, enabling us to accomplish our goals, face challenges, and experience the fullness of life. It manifests in various forms, primarily as physical, emotional, and spiritual energy. Each of these facets is interconnected, and together they form the foundation of our vitality and well-being.

Physical Energy

Physical energy is perhaps the most tangible and readily observable form of energy. It derives from our body’s biological processes, such as metabolism, respiration, and circulation. The food we eat, the quality of our sleep, and our physical fitness all influence our physical energy levels. Regular exercise, a balanced diet, and adequate rest are essential for maintaining and enhancing physical energy.

When we feel physically energized, we are better equipped to meet the demands of daily life. It fosters mental clarity, endurance, and resilience, allowing us to pursue our ambitions and enjoy life’s experiences to the fullest.

Emotional Energy

Emotional energy is the fuel that powers our interactions with others and influences our mental well-being. It is deeply intertwined with our thoughts and feelings. Positive emotions, such as joy, love, and enthusiasm, generate emotional energy, while negative emotions like anger, stress, and sadness can deplete it.

Cultivating emotional energy involves self-awareness and emotional intelligence. Practices like mindfulness, meditation, and healthy emotional expression enable us to harness positive emotions and manage negative ones. When our emotional energy is vibrant, we build stronger relationships, handle stress more effectively, and experience a greater sense of inner peace.

Spiritual Energy

Spiritual energy is the least tangible yet profoundly influential aspect of our vitality. It connects us to a higher purpose, offering a sense of meaning and transcendence beyond the material world. This form of energy can be nourished through practices like meditation, prayer, or engaging in activities that align with our values and beliefs.

Interconnectedness and Balance

These three forms of energy—physical, emotional, and spiritual—are not isolated but intricately connected. Neglecting one can have a cascading effect on the others. For instance, chronic stress can deplete emotional and physical energy, while nurturing our spirituality can enhance overall well-being.

Achieving a harmonious balance among these forms of energy is essential for a fulfilling and vibrant life. It requires a holistic approach, encompassing self-care, emotional intelligence, and a sense of purpose. The journey toward optimal energy balance is a lifelong pursuit, one that enriches our lives and allows us to become our best selves. True or true?
