Poem: Equanimity
Written by Liam
While walking the rim of a moon-swept sea,
Arm in arm with a thought called me.
We chatted, we talked, we pondered on high,
About the meaning of being, of seeing, of I.
The roar of surf, the sweep of tide,
In the blood-red pulse, a seagull cried.
In this screech, shone the moon-filled sea,
The moment deep, the you in me.
We now unite in a flash of sight,
The I who we were before the call.
My paradigm absorbed in newfound light,
Two melted to one, this emergent in all.
Inspired insight happens within you too,
A way to see, a way to feel, a way to become equanimity.

What was the hardest personal goal you’ve set for yourself?
Goals should be challenging enough to motivate and stimulate growth, they should also be realistic and attainable to maintain motivation, foster learning, and support well-being. Finding the right balance is key to effective goal-setting. Goal should never be hard, but Reproducible. Liam
Poetry: Petals
by Liam
This heart of mine is all trouble and heavy,
That sweet place of peace has lost the divine.
Not by the poison of the bee or the sting of the wasp.
The absence of my awareness is its corruption.
My weighted sigh, its negligence,
Whispering woe unto my ears.
Let me now run, abandon the protocol,
Hurl myself into the maelstrom of chaos.
Loose the burden of this pretending self
Or simply be like petals blown into the flame of love,
Where jasmine caresses the dark ash,
Where beauty returns to the face of joy,
Brings laughter again to the smile of you.
You, alive in the wasp, the bee, the jasmine, and me.
Me a tumbleweed rolling across the desert land ,
Casting loves seeds to tomorrows awareness
Again free, united with the wind, sky and thee.

Poem: The Pearl
by Liam
Within my soul, a precious pearl arose,
Emergent bright from deep within my core.
Oh, tempest! wake me from this restless dream,
Transform this jewel to thought forevermore.
Let lightning strike, the ocean’s secret crack,
Reveal my mysteries, deep and profound.
Lay I still, while all about went black,
Peace found me then upon the shore, unbound.
An empty cloud, I now lie in slumber deep,
Beside the ocean’s edge, I found my grace.
In stillness, under moonlit, starry wonder sleep,
In cherished solitude, dremt a soft embrace.
In a cloud of white, this pearl now lies.
I fly away with wind, become blue skies.

What would you do if you lost all your possessions?
Metaphorically, without all our possessions, we are often described as being stripped down to our essential selves. This means we are seen for who we are at our core, without the material belongings or external trappings that can sometimes mask or define us in society. It’s a way of emphasizing the importance of our character, values, and inner qualities over material wealth or status. In this state, we may be more vulnerable, but it can also be an opportunity for authentic self-discovery and connection with others on a deeper level. Liam
Poetry: The Game
by Liam
It’s a beckoning call, time rings each morn,
To wake with bird-song, sung to dawn.
For as the rays ring bright today,
It’s life again which calls to play.
A game of give, or take me down,
Each child will grow to wear the crown.
Adult, responsibility to give back and more,
Or in confusion break down life’s door.
Let’s choose well the games love needs,
Let’s do deeds that affirm this accord.
The cusp of youth requires such care,
A covenant, as adults we need be aware.
Our day too will dip its course,
Towards evening let’s remove remorse.
Done the chant of song and play,
To fly to night, return another way.
