Poetry: The Gift of Love
by Liam
Why bother, to pour your love into containment
Do fish in the sea worry about its wetness ?
Yet, we ration love although it’s endless.
Love swims in our every living cell
Carrying our consciousness, bearing our gratitude
Thither as we grace life with participation
Awakening both to yesterday and tomorrow
Binding them today in this bow of forever
For here, elegance touches space, embraces time and falls in love again
With its very own gift.
