Poetry: Dreaming of you

In dreams we’ve wandered, hand in hand,

Along life’s beach feet in the sand

This dreaming within, a dream we share,

It’s how we caring touching watching stare.

While the world around us fades away,

It’s your star light eyes, which awake my way.

But a fleeting shadow, life it seems,

Only love, my dearest, is more than dreams.

Within my dream of you, so pure so true,

My heart finds solace forever anew.

Life’s an echo, a rushing stream,

But in your love, my darling, is my cherished dream.
