My Partner

Poem: My Partner

by Liam

Twixt the gold of autumn,

It’s silver grey which slowly spreads,

As years go by, across my head,

Yes, you who, in words, in thoughts.

In manifold deeds unsaid, have filled my life & more.

Have touched the deep strong core.

The meaning of me, of my being more.

That treasure rich now fills this chest,

Wherein contained my beating heart doth lie.

The wet tear strokes with gentle streak, I cry.

My memory warm, pressed soft against your cheek.

Now shines and takes us spinning across the floor.

We’ve shared the stage called life.

We’ve shared applause & moments lonely lost in strife.

And through it all, from waking kiss till late now in the fall,

Of day, of season, of this magic moment captured call.

We together sang the song called life,

My friend, whose hands mine warmed,

Departed swift this morn into the light.

Left life, yet I’ll hold on with all my might,

In my still beating heart, the love,

To carry you, across your long and distant night.

The Embrace

Poetry: The Embrace

Evening shadow flows, blood-red between the leaves.

We walk soft amongst the Autumn trees.

My fascination with your blond-blown braid,

Your intimations reflex is to toss this serenade.

Let us bathe in these arrangements glowing red,

Leaves still bleed evening around your head.

Lead me to the consequence of an embrace.

You, me, dissolve this way in time and space.

Unresolved the questions that you break

Upon my wounded back, they shake me.

Again, again, it’s not my pain but your capacity.

To create the hold on my inadequacy.

We will find our start despite the dark,

Intrusions of this night.

All I Want

Poetry: All I Want

by Liam

All I want is silence, to touch me

It’s beauty hidden within the shine of love

All I want is love, to fold my soul

To turn me fully to myself

All I want is to run, towards the moment smiling

For that perfume rise’s from the valley floor

All I want is to touch the moon light,

That silver is for all in sight.

All I want is to lie in a sea of daffodils,

Spread out along the shore of life.

It’s here we dance

It’s how we pray

It’s why we glance

To the stars and stay

In cosmic motion

Do you see yourself as a leader?

Do you see yourself as a leader?

True leadership is not about authority or control but about inspiring and guiding others toward a common theme, while maintaining true ethical and moral standards.

Different situations may call for different leadership styles, but these traits express the core ideas which I strive to follow in writing my poetry. Liam

Words:

What’s your favorite word?

Poetry: “Words”

by Liam

Words, words—the vessels we find,

Set them a-sail upon the ocean’s mind.

Fast, they move in search, then ponder,

Thus grows the cargo of my daily wonder.

I row with questions, pulling hard the oar,

Each an idea, which came before.

Whence we come, where will we go,

Who truly knows what life is for?

Awaken, wonders of the world, all seven,

Enabled, I cast my line to heaven.

Where these word’s appeal holds fast,

Joins together with the other world at last.

In amazement of all which lies between,

Heaven’s gate can wait till I’m serene.

Reflections of me, rainbows we are seeing,

In the spray of love thrown from the waves of being.

The Feather

Poetry: The Feather

by Liam

These wings with which I’m born,

Their invisibility gives me strength to adorn,

To soar where few birds cry,

High clouds where eagles fly.

With these pinions wide we glide

How we see amazes me

even more,

Blind, I move across oceans wide and far,

Above snow-covered peaks

your shining star.

Hand in hand, together we find,

What we had flown for,

Who we came to discover

How we’d been lost, but then found

A heartbeat within eternity,

A wing stroke from infinity,

This feather, with which my love song is blessed.
