Poem: Human

In an endless quest, I’ve sought the way,

To find my purpose each dawning day.

Inquiring why, I yearn so much,

For love within life’s tender touch.

Each and every soul is a gem to see,

Each and everyone a mystery.

Yet it’s in their eyes, we find the spark,

Which binds us as one against the dark.

We live, we laugh, we weep, we cry,

Yet onward, we embrace the art,

Of starting afresh with tomorrow’s grace,

In this human yet eternal race.
