Sonnet: Equilibrium

Through turmoil and madness, I searched,
The fragments of my self, lost and scattered.
This life’s task, my journey yet undiscovered,
A storm, my spirit’s quest, was shattered.
Oh, tempest wild, sanity did wane,
‘Midst the chaos, inspiration was impaled.
In chaotic dance, I faced my pain,
And in its grip, my true self was unveiled.
Those fractured thoughts and nights of terror,
Pieced I together fragments of my mind.
Emerging stronger from that darkest error,
My soul alive, I smile, this joy to find.
What blessings, bear we all deep but hidden,
Love’s call, there to find again when bidden.

Poetry: Imagine

In my thoughts,
I reach out not knowing when,
I might touch your hair,
Stare into the invisibility of your aquamarine gaze.
This imagined invitation is trust, is true,
To share in the depth of your Cerilian blue.
It’s this vision of a future fair,
You playing Satè, quietly in my heart.
I go smiling, fly another thousand miles to meet the part,
Blinded by the intensity of a wish,
To congeal my feelings, create emotions.
You now page, a book of poems,
Remarkably eloquent insights, captured remarks,
Include the jive of this emotional connectivity.
As you flow, unintentionally rich into my imagination,
Again and again and again.

Among the whispers that softly play their part,
Dare you believe in their enticing song?
Of being special, with understanding to impart,
This is a destiny where you truly do belong.
In days to come, this change you will bestow,
Upon the world, a touch of your own grace.
You’ll stand amidst the currents that grow and flow,
A whisperer of stories uncovered by time and space.
The listener and transformer, both reside,
Within your being, is the power to unfold.
It’s you who’ll turn the tide, make dreams collide,
With every whispered tale that you’ve been told.
So heed these whispers, woven with your art,
You’re the change, the world’s beat is beating your heart.

As we first touch
It turns out, the thoughts
Your mindfulness is an embrace
My hands run through airy space
Your invisibility fills me with a caress
Yet lips I yearn to know address
The fascination of these features fine
The curve, the flow of beauty around your cheek
Hips I seek to understand
A cascade in gold tumbles across this sky
The blue in heaven
Sparkles from within your inner eye
I know you not or why
Yet, you have entered my blood
Melting fresh as a mountain stream
This moment of recognition
Is meant to define me too
This eternity of who
This infinity of you.
