Oh, fleeting this vision, I glimpsed its light,

The flash of azure in a sky so bright.

It fluttered, it frolicked, soaring high in flight.

Carried on the breeze, by a whispered dream,

It searched luxuriant realms of green.

A blossom, a blade, where nature convenes.

This beautiful being, light and unbound,

A gentle reminder to observe, the profound,

The essence of simplicity, so perfectly found.

It shares with us this precious view,

Your vision too, to fly free and review,

Cherish our gifts given, divine and true.

The butterfly’s serenade is my symphony of delight.

Together, let’s embrace in this victorious flight.

Invisible becomes tangible.

It’s our lips which first taste the future,

The moment tattooed into the fabric of forever.

In the arc of your love,

The form of your perception creates me too,

Hammers my ineptitude with forgiveness,

Straightens my inconsequence with gratitude.

This malleability of soul

Is the substance of our consent,

The direction of what we wish to achieve,

The meaning of that which we have become.

One.

Each a master crafting,

What makes us real,

What makes us true,

What brings us together.

When it’s love, let me be moistened,

Not only by your lips but also by your ocean,

That cosmos of twinkling which shines from your eyes.

Thoughts, like ripples, tickle my imagination.

Splash playfully as we talk,

As we walk hand in hand.

The here to there is trivial,

What is profound is to move with your magic.

Sharing a moment in your experience is vivid,

It’s new, it enables me to reassemble my sandcastle of insights,

Building a fortress of lofty blown clouds,

Vast, more coherent, more in touch.

You touch me too, in mysterious mystical nuances,

Moments in which

Recognition pats me quietly on the shoulder,

DĆ©jĆ  Vu mingles in these meetings.

Suspended between the alpha and the omega,

We experience ourselves woven inextricably into the fabric of life,

Spun threads of cosmic fluff finding meaning,

Magically discovering how deeply delicious life has become.

My Dinner Guest List

If you could host a dinner and anyone you invite was sure to come, who would you invite?

An interesting and diverse group to invite would include historical figures like Albert Einstein, Marie Curie, Mahatma Gandhi, and Leonardo da Vinci, along with contemporary figures like Elon Musk, Yuval Noah Harari, and Barak Obama. My Irish Grandfather would also have to be there!

Love is a celestial quest, divine,

Where words, like feathers, gracefully align.

This pen, this ink, this page, my humble tools,

As thoughts take flight, like birds from airy schools.

Within God’s embrace, my words find worth,

They lift with lightness, flying high from Mother Earth.

As air flow lifts their meaning to the skies,

Love’s reflection shines, as sun on eagle’s eyes.

Infinite moments captured in the sands of time,

Poetry, held in this hand, contemplates a rhyme.

Words, like stars, guide us searching on their way,

An astrolabe, for lovers show us where to play.

Here, love expresses this grand design,

As Shakespeare’s quill, too, did weave words sublime.

For in my ode, let lovers’ glow forever swell,

An expression of the truth we have to tell.
