Poetry: The Puzzle

Forever I’ve looked for Love

Each piece in a part of me

Found like a puzzle we call life

Leads back to the picture I see

It’s, Hidden for all to find

It’s, Written for all to read

It’s, Spoken for all to hear

What need I forsake,

to take this home with me?

My eyes

My thoughts

My hearing

Let me cast them all away

Across the cliff of understanding

For to speak, let love first play

Let me hurl my inhibitions

Into a pit of passion pure

Embrace my hearts perceptions

Burn the rest, this is my cure

As the dew caresses a blossom

At peace in the moments I know

Take my hand, oh sweet life

Is the love within which we flow.
